Margrave
Luis De Luit, Keeper of the Marchar, a Lord of the Hanseatic Commonwealth, and general right hand of the Daughter of Harmony herself, The Lady Protector Sarah Tintagyl, was frustrated. As both the Hanseatic and the Marchar sections of the Commonwealth's military had grown, his own position had increasingly moved away from his men and to purely administrative tasks. It was irritating, and he'd almost given up today, almost losing his composure enough to order one of his guards to take the offending papers to the burn barrel. As he quietly bemoaned the death of his field service, he heard a light knock on his door (it was open, of course, as was his policy), and he felt the familiar weight shifting across his floor. Looking up with a neutral look on his face, he stood and quickly bowed to Lady Sarah, allowing himself to relax after he had rendered honors. After all, if he did not absolutely live his responsibility to her, who else would? Not quite allowing himself to smile, he spoke, his voice firm and even. "My Lady...how may I render assistance to you?"
Sarah Tintagyl
Sarah smiled as she walked into the room, a chuckle only moments from leaving her closed lips. "Well Luis, take a look out the window, that was the first thing that showed my I might want to stop by." He turned around to look down in the gardens below where five Hanseatic marines were throwing dozens of papers into a iron barrel on the gravel pathway. She looked down at the pile of papers that were still strewn over his desk and the look of desperation and stress in his eyes and she walked behind and took his hand. "Listen, I'm taking a break for a bit, why don't you come along with me, I'm going down to the cultural district to get something to eat instead of them bringing it up to me. You could use the walk Luis and you and I could talk for a bit, talk as people, not as politicians or as commanders or anything." Sarah laughed. "Though I'm sure it'll be brought up sometime." She lifted him out of the seat. "But c'mon, give me some company. What do you say? How do hot dogs sound?"
