The experiences we shared strengthened the ties that we had been working on. Our alliances share similar philosophies towards the game and we're glad to continue the relationship. Our treaty was about to expire and we wanted to make this a more permanent deal. So here you go: Partly Cloudy with a Chance of Rain pt 3.Preamble: Umbrella and Kronos have come together through friendship and mutual respect, forging this pact of mutual defense to ensure the sovereignty, strength, and prosperity of both alliances. Article I - Friendship: This pact was forged on the foundation of friendship, and to ensure that it continues to grow, both alliances encourage their members to visit the others forums and IRC channels. Article II - Non-Aggression: No member from either alliance shall attack a member of the other. Should such an attack occur, both alliances agree to resolve the issue through diplomatic chanels with the attacker covering the cost of the damage he dealt. Article III - Intelligence: Any pertinent information that is disclosed to either signatory that involves the other, shall be shared with the others government. Article IV - Mutual Defense: An attack on one member of this pact, is seen as an attack on both members equally, and will activate both parties full military, economic and political strength. If either party is attacked because of action taken through obligation to another treaty, this clause becomes optional. Article V - Optional Aggression: Should one member engage in an offensive war, the other may, while not obligated, aid them through any means desired, including but not limited to militaristic, economic and/or political. Article VI - Cancellation: If either signatory wishes to cancel this treaty, they must give 96 hours notice to the other. The treaty will still be in effect for that period.
