Ranather
[The Camera pans across an old and decrepit Buddhist Temple, with various persons and machines flitting about. Slowly, the King's procession comes into view. After several moments, the roughshod broadcast begins.] "Citizens of Siam. For the greater part of two decades, several sites of great archaeological, historical, and cultural significance have been left to rot, victims of natural decay. As a part of the larger infrastructural improvement project, many of the largest and most well known of these sites are slowly being restored and augmented. Though many of the structures will simply be restored to a pristine state, the introduction of proper transportation and communications media will be mandated. Seperate structures will be newly built to house the most essential functions, so as not to disturb the sanctity of many of these sites. However, minimal electric, water, and sewer requirements must be met in all buildings, regardless. In addition, utilizing resources of the Bloc, many of the ancient texts and Historical archives will be codified and electronically recorded and stored, as well as the creation of new facilities to house these things. Knowledge is the first step on a brighter path and this Great Restoration aims to further these goals."
