State of the Alliance

After a week off due to war drama the State of the Alliance returns!

The past two weeks has seen the membership of the Siberian Tiger Alliance remain steady at around 190 with our total nation strength approaching the 3 million mark after the decommissioning of militaries and the many nukes our nations ate caused a drop in our total nation strength. The average nation strength has dropped slightly to 15300.

In domestic news the Siberian Tiger Alliance’s military commitment to the Karma war ended during the week when Molon Labe and DOOM surrendered to the combined forces of Mushroom Kingdom, New Sith Order, Siberian Tiger Alliance and the New Polar Order. The Siberian Tiger Alliance was once again proud to have defended her allies in times of conflict and to have successfully completed our mission in the war.

Awards were presented to all Siberian Tiger Alliance members who saw combat during this campaign and nuclear awards were presented to those that sacrificed their nations in nuclear war. I would like to publicly thank our members for their discipline and commitment to the defence of allies of our alliance.

Hiyouuk was presented with the Tiger of the Month Award for April for his recruitment efforts prior to the hold on recruitment. During his short time in the alliance he has recruited almost 20 new members who have remained in the alliance for more than one month. For his efforts Hiyouuk was also present with a Recruitment Rewards ribbon and a cash prize.

The Siberian Trophy passed the mid-point of the season this week with Uhtred’s Bamburgh FC topping the table two points clear of FC Tigris Altaica. Batch is a point further back. Four teams look to be battling to avoid relegation with four points separating Fior Eire, Togashire FC, MagicalTrevors’s FC Morrowind and KevinKeegan’s Cidduh Blues. In the Cup Division, Lysotine’s Los Banditos has opened up a four point break over second placed Zavod Ural Solikamsk. KingPenchuk’s Proxian FC sits a point a drift of the promotion places with Linden16’s FC Polar Samurai two points further back. Logan Smith’s Panthers look destined to finish last, already seven points behind second from bottom FC iTeam.

Diplomatically, the past week has been relatively quiet as our role in the current war ended. The Siberian Tiger Alliance has remained in contact with our allies to keep updated on their status.

The Siberian Tiger Alliance has also fielded a number of treaty offers over the past couple of weeks but at this point in time, no new treaties are anticipated to be signed anytime soon.

In military news, the Siberian Tiger Alliance ended its combat role in the Karma war during the week after successfully defending Mushroom Kingdom and the New Sith Order from attacks by Molon Labe and DOOM respectively. While our deployment was limited by the size of the target alliances it was pleasing to see 80 Siberian Tiger Alliance members involved in combat over that two week deployment and also pleasing to see a number of nations gain their first experience in an inter-alliance war of this scale. Many of our government and military officials put in long hours to ensure our preparedness and performance in this was as good as it could possibly be. Bzelger, in particular, put in a lot of work and I thank him on behalf of the Siberian Tiger Alliance for his effort. Uhtred, Pezstar, Shodemofi, Lakerzz8, Jyrinx, Ragashingo, afoster32 and Auzzie also put in a lot of time in the preparation for war and I thank them also.

Overall, the past two weeks have hectic due to the war that still rages in parts of the Cyberverse. The Siberian Tiger Alliance looks now to rebuilding nations that suffered damage during the war and focussing on the alliance increasing its average and total nation strength over the coming weeks.

Za Sibir’!

I believe Tyga left out one important person to be mentioned for his efforts to provide leadership and help during the past conflict... but he probably was just trying to be modest... Here is to the aforementioned members of STA and also to our Good Leader Tyga!

I will be taking that promotion spot. You just wait ;).

BRING IT. :P

Like I said on IRC, still plenty of time for us both to pass Los Banditos. Matter of fact, guess who I'm playing against next? And guess which two teams Los Banditos hasn't beaten this season? ;)

Also, Za Sibir'! You guys rock.

Well, what we do know is, we both have to beat Los Banditos for this to work. Or someone else needs to beat LB, which hasn't happened yet.

One thing's certain. There will be only one unbeaten team left in Siberian Cup 1 after tonight. The question is, who will that be?
