Sarah Tintagyl
The original meeting in Africa considering Archon Mykep's Global Peace Initiative had in Sarah's mind had been a failure. It had only continued to prove to her that the world was full of incompetent leaders that were much too afraid of their neighbors and still had the pathetic beliefs that what happened outside their borders did not effect their country's proper. 'The fools', she thought as she walked from her office in the Brisbane Diet Hall out to the gardens at the back of the building. The Archon of the Republic had requested a personal meeting with her a few days ago about what they had talked about in Abuja and though she thought it was slightly foolish because it seemed that only her and the Archon saw eye to eye on the issue, she respected his endurance to change the world, his charisma, it reminded her of her own and her own desires to change the world that they lived in. If anyone could bring about a new age of anti-aggression, it was her and the Archon. Sarah strolled lightly through the gardens, it was a bright day and she enjoyed being out in the Australian sun as much as possible. Her yellow sundress blowing softly in the breeze. She had instructed the Lillian Guard to allow the Archon immediately entrance and to escort hm to the gardens to meet with her. On a freshly painted white table with wicker chairs, Sarah sat underneath the palm trees and waited for his arrival and there they could begin to change what was wrong with the world, one step at a time. mykep
OOC: You always make the best titles IC: Mykep moved quickly through the gate that opened for him. The Lillian Guard pointed him into the general direction. His speed was fractioned as he took in the sights and smells of the guarden, his ability to concentrate on the very reason why he was hear simply drifted off into the back of his mind. He did a slow manly twirl as his eyes closed and he breathed in. His foot caught a small rock and he stumbled a bit. A soft giggle was heard in the distance. He quickly regained his thoughts and remembered what brought him here. He made his way to the palm tree with a gentle smile. He sat down next to Sarah who has a big grin on her face. "Yes, yes, I know I'm a cluts. You know, its places and moments like these that make me wish peace was a bigger and large practice in the world. Leaders would be able to handle internal affairs with much more ease and allow for moments like this in the solitude of thier own backyard or with an audience." Sarah Tintagyl
"Yes, yes, I know I'm a cluts. You know, its places and moments like these that make me wish peace was a bigger and large practice in the world. Leaders would be able to handle internal affairs with much more ease and allow for moments like this in the solitude of thier own backyard or with an audience." "Well its nice for someone at least to share one's beliefs." Sarah giggled as Mykep sat down across the table from her. "Though I'm afraid I haven't done the necessary yard work to remove the stray rocks from the ground. Busy after all, the world doesn't wait for landscaping." She looked off to the right towards the Diet as two servants brought out a platter of entrees, wings, sandwiches, fruits, and fish that had just been caught from outside of Brisbane. In addition various pitchers of lemonade and iced tea. After the food was settled she turned back to the Archon and smiled. "I do want to apologize for my actions in Abuja. If you would have known me a few years ago I would have been much more talkative and much less aggressive. But politics has a way of changing a person, even if they try their hardest to remain outside of the fray." Taking a plate of fish and a glass of iced tea she shook her head as she ate. "People in the world today are either loud about their power, or are isolationists hiding behind their walls hoping that time will pass them by, because it is the only way they believe they can survive." She sighed. "The Commonwealth is not powerful militarily by any means, my nation was created through diplomacy and I am a firm believer in diplomacy. The problem however right now in the world is that, well the world is run from Ferinh and Berlin and that isn't helping anyone. To be honest Mykep, I would love to see the blocs destroyed, but that will happen over time and not with the snap of our fingers. But you called this audience, please tell me what are your thoughts about the Global Peace Initiative? How can I help you in your goal? Which I may add has been one of my goals since the Great European War. What can the Hansa do to help?"

mykep
"The Global Peace Initiative is just what it says, an initiative. I am simply looking to find several nations who would be interested in peace rather than war. When I find them, I will ask for thier aid to rid the world of the arrogant leaders outhere who are out for nothing more than personal gain. Now, aid comes in different forms. Military, Financial, etc. We dont need everyone to attack them, we just need people to help get rid of them. Blockades, tariffs, Not allowed in certain countries, and other methods would drown them out and the second they do something stupid we would be able to use thier weaken state to rid the government. Then we would leave the country all allow them to elect a better, more peaceful leader. This isnt a bloc, or a "destroy all aggressors" this is an effort to remove the aggressive powers of the world. An effort which will need a large amount of members. That is where you come in. As you have been a large and outspoken individual in the world, I need you to use your influence to help spread the word, and open the cause to all. Have them take the Oath and acknowledge the "legit CB clause" If they do so, then our effort will increase. Will you stand with me in this case? Ask your allies, neighbors, people you have worked with and people who wish to work with you if they will join our cause to end all wars once and for all? Think of the world working together to stop one another from attacking one another when the rest of the world is breathing down the person's back who is attacking someone else. They wouldnt even attempt it in the first place. We would quite possible deter all future wars and keep peace one and for all." Sarah Tintagyl
Sarah smiled as she took another quick sip of the Iced Tea one the table. "Your Excellency, it would be my pleasure to stand with you through thick and thin to create a world that people will want to inhabit for the rest of their lives. To be honest, I wish I was as brave as you to create such an organization. Though to be honest I doubt the strength of the world to stand by us. People are fickle and I doubt what they believe in and what they try to prove to each other. I saw this at the meeting, they want to hide, they want to avoid the inevitable war that hovers over the Earth like a dark cloud not willing to do anything about it." She scoffed and turned to her side. "Its a shame, we could have peace, but people don't want peace, leaders, they don't want peace, they want war." She looked back at him. "Though I can tell you this. You have my full support in the matter, you have my charisma, my strength, everything that I have to offer to prevent another war. But I will do as much as possible to try an convince people about this noble cause and perhaps after this meeting the world will be closer to eternal peace than we have ever been before." She stuck out her hand for him to grab. "I'll stand with you to the end Your Excellency, I promise that with every ounce of strength left in my heart. We will make the world safe again for nations and citizens, or we will die trying."
mykep
He took her hand and said, "My Lady, you are far too modest. You have done so much for the world. To lead this effort to peace with you is an honour. Yet, I have no doubt other people will take up this honour and join us in our effort. It will be a difficult road to find the proper nations to become neutral and work against aggressors, for sometimes they are htier allies and friends. Let us look together, I have no doubt that this is the path chosen for me. That peace cannot be accomplished through wordy letters but through action and disciplining those in need of it. I thank you for your support, and if we have to die for peace, so be it. If we fail, and stand alone, I do hope that we must die defending our principles rather than lose them." He let her hand slip from his finger, he reached for his wine glass. He slowly raised it towards her. "To peace?"
Sarah Tintagyl
"To peace." She tinged the glass lightly against his and brought the liquid to her lips. "Very good, very good." Sarah thought for a moment and smiled at the Archon and stood up from the table. "Your Excellency, please, come with me, I'd like to show you something." Sarah lead him across the gardens through stone pathways flanked by large oaks and small marble fountains, as birds cheeped happily in the air above them. As they walked, she led him to a black metal gate flanked by hedge bushes and intertwined with a rose bush that ran up the bars of the door. The door swung open softly as she led him into a small park like atmosphere and the end of the small pathway was a stone platform that rose slightly off the ground and a white statue of an angel against the hedge bushes. "The Timorese built this after the Great European War, when Helsinki was destroyed. Though I must say I never thought I look particularly good with wings." She chuckled as she stopped before the platform. "Well the nation...relocated...if you could call it that. The Timorese gave me the statue they created and the church dedicated a shrine to that war and the men that died during it here. Since that time Your Excellency, I have tried my hardest to stabilize the world. Enemies call me an imperialist and an expansionist, while allies call me the Lady or the Valkyrie of Peace." She turned back to Mykep, her sapphire eyes shining in the sun. "I am none of those things Your Excellency, I only want people to perhaps not to have to live their lives in suffering as I and my people did for what seemed like an eternity." She turned and looked back at the statue and sighed. "We have the chance to do something great, like the White Cross, but with strength. I say it again, you have whatever support I can muster to your cause, I can promise you that." Edited May 16, 2009 by Sarah Tintagyl
mykep
"Strength... Its funny how we have resorted to strength to keep peace. That in a time where struggle was everywhere, that there was no way to peace, peace was the way. Now, we have people taking sides in a war that may or may not happen. It is funny how such a path was chosen for me. My father built a statue to peace in Greenland, after the Stockholm Crisis, where my father sold a quater of Greenland to avert the crisis, tt turned him onto the idea of beoming a peace maker. A wise Dalai Lama lead me to believe “Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding.” He believe that diplomacy was the only way. What the man did not understand was that he was talking to walls, and walls must be knocked down. I was a boy back then, listening to a teacher. Now that I have grown, I have brought a sledge hammer, and I shall talk to them after I break down the wall. We shall be the soldiers of peace. We will gaurd it, protect it, and never forget that when we leave each other in pursuit of our vision, that our initial goal is peace. Nothing more, nothing less." He felt a distant wind approach. It shook the trees and was bringing leaves and fresh air into his aura. He gathered himself after fading away into the nature of beauty and turned to Sarah. "Come, let us go." The distant wind hit him. It wasn't pleasant, but it sure wasnt going to stop him. It came ot him as a wind of change, a wind that would be different from the other. This one was sure to get the message across.
