KagetheSecond
The Karma war is winding down and it appears that the outcome looks to be fairly set in stone. The war has been great, and I have gotten to know some people in other alliances and have experienced first hand how fierce they are in battle. I want to see how good of competitors they are outside of CN. I propose that we have a war in a battle simulator (like Call of Duty) to see how this war would turn out if we fought based on the strength of individuals. If enough people show interest in this, I would be more than willing to participate and report the results of this event. In order to accommodate the different platforms, we will have competitions on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC (if needed). Based on the number of entrants, multiple tiers of competition can be created based on alliance size (Macro, midsize, and micro alliances). Competing in different game modes is also an option. Please post your thoughts. Mods, if this belongs in the water cooler, can you please move it for me?

nc1701
Starcraft Tournament would be the best venue to settle this I think...
Heracles the Great
I'd be down if I played any of those I say we take this to the paintball fields
Master-Debater
Hasnt this been sugested before? Either way it would be kind of interesting to see what would happen if the sides had a real war somewhere where individual skill was more of a factor. I say we take this to the paintball fields ^^^^^ That would be friggen awesome lol.

Learz
bros did this with DefCon (the game) sometime last year IIRC.
KagetheSecond
Perhaps if I made some things clearer, we could have a better idea. Sign ups will be for either Hegemony or Karma. Alliance Affiliation will not be used in competition unless you want to represent your alliance while you're pwning n00bs. This will be a simple 1v1 ladder system. I intended for the competition to be in only CoD4 using the different game modes contained. Any suggestions for other games can be organized by the parties that wish to play them. In a side note, if we could actually organize a paintball game, I'd probably &*&^ in my pants.
alpreb
Starcraft Tournament would be the best venue to settle this I think... Gee I wonder who will come out victorious of that event... But this is pretty hard to arrange. For FPS and the likes, you pretty much need regional (North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia) games to get decent pings. I would recommend games that don't require teams but rather individual players to make it feasible.
R&R-Viking
bros did this with DefCon (the game) sometime last year IIRC. Yeah it was fun. No other game out really comes close to the essence of CN like DefCon does. Especially diplomacy mode. Edited May 15, 2009 by Viking
DarkEra97
I'd be down with this, even if it doesn't settle which side is "better", it would still be fun.

Emperor Stranger
A fair number of Gramlins would like to see you try Awesome. I would love to fight someone one on one in a game. (I'd say two on two, but I seem to slaughter my friend's two on one... it's sad.)
BamaBuc
Not gonna lie, this isn't what I expected from the title/subtitle... I figured it would be a rant about making NPO/Slayer/whoever pay for supposed OOC crimes (EZI, Nazi hunts, etc). I think this would be awesome... If I had Live. -Bama

Nintenderek
Considering you can download Counter Strike 1.6 for free online at a lot of places and it runs on most computer platforms (I've never tried it on a Mac though), I think it would be a good game to test this theory.
