VigilantWatcher
The Republic of Western Africa was the next target for the Phoenix International Bank. An empty bank had been bought in the capital and a team had been dispatched to man the bank. The plan was to get into Africa after successful getting into North America and Asia. The new customers would benefit from the offers available and hopefully the PIB would contribute to the local economy. mykep
A Representative from PiB reached Olivia Broome in her office. They would be discussing the details of the West African branch of the PiB. "Welcome. Now before you have any questions, let me present you with what we are looking for you to do. We want 46 locations, two in each of our !@#$%*. We want the head of this branch to be located in our capital at Porto-Novo. We wish for you to throw in all of your services. You will be fully, of course, endorsed by the government. On another note, we would like for you to provide banking for West African Glass Industry(WAGI) and The Republic Mining Inc. (RMI). If at all possible, would you be able to advertise this to other countries in which you have banking for? That question aside, we would like to see what Companies or Businesses you provide banking for and see if they would like to come here as well. VigilantWatcher
The PIB representive, James Carlson smiled before replying "We can have the head of this branch to be located in your capital at Porto-Novo. Your citizens will get all of our services, converted to your local currency. Endorsement by your government will be a welcome asset as we can communicate ideas to them in the future.. We are willing to provide banking for West African Glass Industry(WAGI) and The Republic Mining Inc. (RMI). We will be able to advertise this to other countries in which we provide banking for. This will also give these companies publicity, which we will provide the funds for. The Companies or Businesses we currently provide banking for is Curristan Trains and Desator Industries in the Socialist Republic of Atlantis. Curristan Trains is at the moment trying to expand its network but that will be only though the Americas. Planet Bucks, a cafe outlet is trying to expand itself overseas. The best way would be to ask through the Curristan Stock Market (OOC:Curristan Stock Market ) about expansion into Africa. Burger Barn, a fast food outlet is also trying to expand overseas and would also welcome business in The Republic. You can also contact them through the Curristan Stock Market." He paused and waited for a reply. Desator Industries we cannot speak for as they are a foreign company. You may have to contact their head office to discuss whether they would come here. mykep
Yes, the transfer of your services into our currency, Transvaler Rand (Florin), will be very helpful. Also, any ideas you might have can be submitted to me in my office. The buisnesses are well developed here and we would like to see them do so abroad as well. It is great to see you take them under your funds as well as advisement. I will be sure to contact them to set up communication ASAP. In that case, we will look to Desator Industries. We will be sure to contact them. The Republic was looking to find a major R&R Company to exapnd our travel and lessen the expence on the major roads. I suppose that will have to wait. Might I ask what are Planet Bucks and Burger Barn? As attractive as thier names sound I was wondering what kind of buisness they operate. VigilantWatcher
"Planet Bucks is a fast growing cafe outlet that has 50 locations in Curristan based mainly in the south around Jakirata and our second city, Washington. They grow their own coffee beans and source the best milk from Curristan Dairy Farms. Burger Barn is a fast food outlet that concentrates on bringing the best convenience food to their customers. They use the best meat from farms owned exclusively by Burger Barn and they use fish from our local waters. The vegetables they use are grown from their owned farms which allows them to monitor the quality of what they grow. They are really concerned about the qaulity of the food they serve. They currently have 70 stores in Curristan, with 20 in Jakirata and 12 in Washington alone. Both companies abide by the Curristan Fair Wages agreement which is every employee must be paid over the minimum wage of C$5.70 per day although that will be going up to C$6.00 a day in 2 weeks time. They have agreed to pay the equivalent in your currency and in any other currency to ensure fairness."

Would this matter be with you or with one of thier own representatives?
VigilantWatcher
"I have permission from them to negotiate the contracts on their behalf as we handle their cash and a transfer can be done immediately. I have been given a limit of what both companies are willing to pay so i know what they want. We can begin negotiations now if you want." mykep
Well we have a variety of different locations that the two buisnesses can settle into. It is a matter of if they would want to be in one city with alot of locations, a few cities with a few locations, or alot of cities with one location each. They will of course be privately invested, but the government will have a fair amount of shares in them. We ask to see what they are willing to offer and what terms they seek outside of the minimum wage.
VigilantWatcher
"Planet Bucks would like to have cafes in want to be in one city, preferably your Capital with alot of locationsand offer C$1 Million to pay for the buildings. They will offer well paid jobs with a wage no less than the equivalent of C$9.50 an hour. Burger Barn would also like to have their resturants in one city with alot of locations, also prefering your Capital and will offer C$1.2 Million to pay for the buildings. They will offer lots of jobs with the least paid job around the equivalent of C$10.00 an hour and the rest higher than that."
mykep
oth will be welcomed in Porto_Novo. I find our capital to be quite booming with new economic ideas as well as funds. Several other international buisnesses have set up amongst the streets of my capital. I only hope that these buisnesses spread to other parts of the country. One thing I believe my country needs is ruralization. Well, I suppose that all of our goals at the beginning of this meeting have been met. It was very nice to meet you and I hope that my country can do so more again some other time. Unless, do you have anything to add?
