Former leader of New Italy, Muzzolini makes an address to the American nations, who are now neighbors of our new American country. His speech has been broadcasted world-wide, and we have provided a full transcript.

"I am very glad to be allowed, to express my friendly feelings towards the American nations. Friendship, which New Italy seeks with the millions of citizens who from Alaska to Florida, from the Pacific to the Atlantic live in the United States, each lie deeply rooted in our hearts. This feeling, created by mutual interest soley contributed to preparations of a new, brighter era in the lives of both nations. I greet the wonderful energy of the American people, and I see and recognize within you the call of your land, as well as ours; my fellow citizens who are working to make America great. I salute the great American people and I salute the Italians of America who have united in a single love of two nations."

Muzzolini also signed a document today stating that he officially resigns leadership of the country to the President of the Freedom Party.

We tune in now to President Bianatto announcing into existance the American Republic of Salò .

"We are a people of action, and it is through action that we will rise, stabilize and advance into a brighter future. Indifferent people will not build a different world, we need to be people of action! We must put our citizens back to work, but economic recovery will be slow. We must provide for the poor, the sick, and the elderly and avoid wreckless military spending. We will be a good neighbor country; honoring our debts and treaty commitments. We will fight to make America safe, secure, healthy, and free. The Italian Americans of our land pledge to secure Democracy, embracy liberty, and defend freedom. Allow me to swiftly declare that we are now the American Republic of Salò!"

OOC: iamthey, why is your reaction completely OOC?
OOC: There, fixed it for ya. :)

OOC: Seriously, who the hell cares?

IC: We in the Nordland find it rather difficult to believe that Americans would be very happy with a former Italian dictator coming to America to lead them when he has no loyalty to his own nation at home. This nation will fall like the rest.

OOC: We do. Because if you don't make a habit of distinguishing them, people may get confused and not be sure what is IC and what is OOC.

IC: You must have missed a portion of the bulliten. Muzzolini has stepped down.
