A public service message from the Headquarters of the Red Cross

Welcome Traveler,

You are the leading representative of a sovereign nation; we respect that.

You have your own culture and are looking after the best interests of your people; we understand.

We are the first Humanitarian Organization in the Cyberverse; you should read more...

We are an active meritocracy that laughs, helps and fights; interested?

propaganda2.jpg

Suffice to say, we are the Red Cross; an intrepid collection of new and experienced souls who enjoy building each other, aiding the disadvantaged and making random but bizarre comments.

We take our integrity pretty seriously but have fun with what we do and know when to cut loose; we aren't a militaristic or lulz alliance, we're something completely different...

Once applied at the The Red Cross Headquarters, you will be partnered with five other nations whom you should become friends with; together, your DART (Disaster Assistance Response Team) will aid each of you to become large and prosperous nations, fight those who unjustly prey on Red Team nations and compete with other teams to have the best flag, spam and decorations.

At our Disaster Relief Center, any vulnerable Red Team nation can petition us for aid to rebuild following a crises; such a donation is voluntary and the impacted country has to pass an effective and reliable VISA process before Humanitarian Aid is given.

As such, stop on by and we'll have ourselves a chat if you have any questions; a connection to our Headquarters is directly below.

The International Charter of Red Cross Affiliated States

Mission

The Red Cross shall be a parliamentary community of twenty-four active nations who shall help each other fight and grow whilst providing humanitarian assistance for deserving friends and neighbours.

Vision

An independent coalition, the Red Cross shall secure the economic and military needs of its own members whilst providing help to the vulnerable; such experiences of the recipient for the latter may include, but are not limited to, unjustified war, refugee status, Eternal-Zero Infrastructure discrimination or other suffering which is tantamount to being refused the sovereign rights of a self-determined nation.

Values

In preservation of this enterprise, the Red Cross shall be guided by its values as expressed by these Fundamental Principles; the dedication of affiliated resources shall be meant to protect the sanctity of those humanitarian values and improve the prosperity of the Movement.

National Affiliation

National affiliation to the Red Cross implies consented agreement to the International Charter of Red Cross Affiliated States and representation in Parliament.

Such membership shall be recognized as a result of a candidate surpassing clearly specified requirements that have been established by Parliament; no expressed validation of national affiliation may be provided to nations which seek congruent membership in another international community.

This process may be divided between membership and candidacy for the purpose of probationary evaluation.

Administration

Parliament is the sole legislating body of the Red Cross; it is represented in an executive role by Cabinet.

Cabinet shall be helmed by the popularly-elected Prime Minister; he or she has authoritative discretion over any Red Cross affair with exception to the rules and stipulations of the International Charter of Red Cross Affiliated States.

The Prime Minister may appoint a Director, who shall administrate matters of economic-military concern and a Chancellor, who shall manage foreign policy.

National affiliates shall become the bureaucracy in Red Cross affairs and aid their administration.

Whereas Parliament shall determine the result of a Vote of No Confidence, Election, Foreign Agreement and Declaration of War, it shall also popularly elect a Speaker.

The Speaker shall provide for the administration of a Vote of No Confidence and an Election.

Vote of No Confidence

A Vote of No Confidence is a vote taken to establish whether Cabinet, a Cabinet member or a Speaker still has majority support for its, his or her policies.

Any member of Cabinet or a Speaker may be removed from his or her position by way of a successful Vote of No Confidence.

The Speaker shall witness any request for a Vote of No Confidence against a Cabinet member; if he or she feels that such an act is warranted, the action shall be presented to Parliament and a simple-majority vote will determine its validation.

The Prime Minister shall witness any request for a Vote of No Confidence against a Speaker; if he or she feels that such an act is warranted, the action shall be presented to Parliament and a simple-majority vote will determine its validation.

Election

An Election to determine the Prime Minister shall be held every four months; an Election to determine a Speaker shall be held every two months.

Foreign Agreement

The Prime Minister shall provide Parliament with the opportunity to decide on the validation of a Foreign Agreement which his or her Cabinet wishes to accept; the verdict shall be determined by a two-third majority vote.

Declaration of War

The Prime Minister shall provide Parliament with the opportunity to decide on the validation of a hostile action of war that does not involve the direct or indirect application of current treaties; that verdict shall be determined by a two-third majority vote.

Voting

The franchise to vote is afforded to every member of Parliament.

Every vote shall be transparent and involve a discussion and polling period which shall be completed within a reasonable constraint of time, guided by precedent; common sense is the prevailing directive.

Discipline

Cabinet may authorize discipline against any individual who wilfully violates the integrity of the International Charter of Red Cross Affiliated States or uses subterfuge to hinder the prosperity of the Red Cross; such action must be transparent and in accordance with the Fundamental Principles.

Fundamental Principles

The Red Cross is able to provide immediate humanitarian assistance to any person who needs it, wherever they are, whatever their affiliation, political beliefs, religion, social status or culture.

Born of a desire to bring assistance without discrimination to any of the wounded on the battlefield, the Red Cross may aid the defence or reconstruction of any nation to the best of its ability.

Endeavoring to relieve the suffering of individuals, the Red Cross shall be guided solely by the immediate needs of the vulnerable and give priority to the Red Team and most urgent cases of distress.

In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Red Cross may not take sides in hostilities that it is not directly involved in unless the stability of the Red Team is threatened, an ally is endangered, or the integrity of the Red Cross is endangered.

The Red Cross is independent. The freedom of its members to engage in humanitarian services is its sovereign and innate liberty.

The Red Cross is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for personal gain.

The Red Cross shall never entertain methods of game play which prohibit the self-determinative ability of another nation.

The Red Cross shall oblige by the consequences of every Foreign Agreement negotiated in good faith.

The Red Cross shall never entertain a merge into another foreign entity.

Amendments

Parliament may amend this charter with the consent of a two-third majority.

See you soon,

The Red Cross

Q: Are you neutral?

A: Nope. We believe in having fun and that means enjoying everything this "game" has to offer; we don't seek war, however, but will always protect nations for the allotted time that it may take to provide them with sufficient humanitarian aid. With that being said, we always stay true to our word and are willing to fight the good fight; although if nobody's picking on us than we prefer to leave others alone. Suffice to say, we always honor our foreign agreements and that's why we are so selective about our treaty partners.

Q: Is there aid?

A: $15 million worth if you participate for a month. Yeah, $15 million worth. We'll also show you what to do so that you can use it to become very strong. Afterwards, you'll help out other members by repaying it so they can become strong too.

Yeah, we're serious.

Very Nice, Modes//Methods of Operation.

Red Cross is an interesting alliance and you are in general. What is your alliance history?

Thanks buddy, I appreciate that! :D We'll be contriving a wiki very shortly that will cover you're excellent question.

Q. What is your policy on recruitment?

A. Really, we don't mind if other people send recruitment messages to our members; while we won't do otherwise because some find that to be offensive, we're pretty confident that we are a great community to be part of and if somebody would rather be somewhere else than they are free to do so.

Plus, let's face it, logging into CN and seeing a PM in your inbox is always interesting; the more the merrier.

Q. Should we take you seriously? I mean, look at how small you are and Red isn't as big as other spheres.

A. How did the NPO, IRON, Legion and GATO start? They began just like we have; starting small is a good thing because you can establish an identity and have a lot of fun along the way.

We aren't concerned with getting our alliance sanctioned, controlling a Team Senate or statistics; we just want to enjoy this game the way we choose to and that's by having great friends, helping each other and helping other people.

We keep things pretty simple that way.

Q. Are you a democracy or authoritarian?

A. We're a meritocratic democracy. Aside from having a membership cap of 24 relatively active nations, everyone has a voice in Parliament and we popularly elect our Prime Minister (PM); in turn, the PM will appoint his cabinet and is kept in check by a Speaker.

Really, we're quite well run.. many of our members have come from a variety of other alliances which had various political systems, we've learned from others and created a responsible form of government that suits us.

We also have these..
