Viluin
I just don't get it. If I am not mistaken, it's normally 1500 but the limit is lowered to 1000 during war. Why? It's not like people use up all their actions at the update, it's often spread throughout the day and the server is handling things just fine except for the first 15 minutes after the update. I don't think the reduced action limit has any effect other than impairing gameplay. I understand there needs to be an action limit to prevent cheating in certain ways, but I don't see why it should be this low. If you're fighting wars on multiple fronts, those clicks will be used up quickly. I'm at over 600 without even performing a single attack yet, and I have to be careful every day or I'll be locked out. It seems to me like it would make more sense to be limited to 1000 military-related page clicks per day instead of counting every single click. Count Rupert
Well, in the context of how you're using your actions though, all clicks can be considered military related. I think it's been 1000 actions a day for a while now. I seem to recall reading somewhere that after the BLEU-Continuum War last summer it was never returned to 1500 actions a day as was the previous practice and the 1000 actions represents the standard regardless of the war/peace status. Gridlock at and around update has had times far worst than you suggest by using "15 minutes after update". At it's peak it was starting to occur 30 minutes before update and extended 45 minutes or more after update. I recall one night not being able to log in until 50 minutes after update. While it may be true that no one is using all their actions at update; many will use a fair piece of it hitting refresh. The higher the number of actions available, the greater the problem since they can use even more at update without affecting the actions they think they need the rest of the day. I happen to like the 1000 action limit. It's a resource that needs to be managed same as soldiers, tanks, missiles, planes and ships and who you attack, when and what order, etc. Those who are more skillful at using that resource benefit over those that aren't. andyt2k
You guys have problem with 1000 clicks, what is it you do with your nation Collect Pay Bills Switch Defcon Switch Threat level Save settings View enemy nation View A Bunch Of Nations Buy soldiers Tanks Spys Navy CM's Aircraft Nukes War Screen Double check nation Air raid Air raid check nation CM CM Check nation Ground attack Ground Attack Navy Navy Check nation Nuke Check nation Read PMs 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Now if we we repeat that for like 6 nations attack and defense wars that's like 210 clicks. Now if we double that and add some accidental double clicks we are at 450 clicks. Then if we trade a heck of a lot of messages, sending and receiving etc we're up to 500 which is still half of the war time allowance, so I see no issue with it. I've never hit the limit and I've done recruiting for my alliance, checking alliance stats, trade hunting etc

If I wasn't so active around the update I would've lost at least 50% more infra. Gotta replenish your forces after the nuke or you're gonna lose 1000+ infra in one day. I've managed to stick to losing 500 a day despite fighting 4 nations, 3 with a WRC and more tech than me. One of them nuked for 380. Cuban The Great One
I hit 500 clicks JUST during my 8 hour shift at work. Sucks......I do a lot of nonsense refreshing though Edited May 11, 2009 by Cuban The Great One
Locke
This seems more like a suggestion than a question to me...as to the limit, I've never even approached it, but I understand that there are people that do as well. If enough people want 1500, I wouldn't oppose it. But really, I don't need it either. *shrug*
Mogar
I find this hilarious considering I'm one of the most active players of this game and never hit the limit.
Shakyr
I only found out there was a limit during the noCB war, when I saw someone complaining about it. Been over a year since I started playing CN, never hit it.
thedestro
1k actions is a lot. The only time I've ever come close is when I was repeatedly mass-messaging every member of my alliance, and even then I had 300 actions left that I didn't use. It's perfectly fine. Jason Salovsky
It doesn't change for the war I thought... I've gotten blocked for too many actions 5 times in this nation's lifetime

raptorix
I am a FOK general and before we attacked NPO we had to make an analysis of the Top 300 Nations of NPO so that costs a lot of clicks
