Pikel
Not sure if what I am about to say is a bug or question. Yesterday, I had nothing better to do so I went and bought maybe 600 infra in one day. I wasn't really paying attention to the ratio of how much bills go up verses population. (I don't think most people do). The day before I made like 15-18 million a day after bills. Now, I make 6.5 million. My resources look fine, I have every wonder and improvement that is useful, not too much military, no events, etc. If I get a donation for may, would I be put into bill lock or something? Last month, when I got a donation, my income only dropped a few 100 000. I think, at this point, the upkeep for infrastructure is rapidly overwhelming any money gotten from citizens. Hope you can address this soon. Thank you. Edited May 4, 2009 by Pikel
Fredginator
The problem is, you have too much infrastructure to be allowed to play the game. please come back next year. On a more serious note, you might have gone over the limit with your infrastructure. I know it might say 23,999.99 but it might just round that downwards for some reason. I suggest you sell 0.01 infrastructure and see if it's fixed.
Pikel
Not really. I bought that much on purpose. From 23 499 to 23 999. I can buy over 24000 if I want to. The thing is between that interval of buying infra, I basically lost a million dollars per day for every 50 infrastructure i bought. =/
admin
I double checked and then next infras jump occurs at 25,000 so that isn't the problem. You might have lost some population happiness for having such a high infras:land ratio. That could also hurt your environment and considering that GRL is currently maxed out that's probably hurting you a lot.

enderland
You should have stopped buying infra a LONG time ago if you were looking to keep increasing your income :\
Emperor Badger
There's an infra jump at 25k infra????? Well you should never be going that high if you are looking to increase profit, but I never knew that.
Duncan King
It's probably the environment that got you. War is heck. You sure you didn't lose a trade? Edited May 4, 2009 by Duncan King
Pikel
http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...Nation_ID=62423 : I lost no trades. GRL plays maybe a 2 million dollar loss tops. Current Infrastructure: 23,989.99 Citizens: 283,452 Working Citizens Daily Population Taxes (Per Citizen) $143.72 Daily Infrastructure Cost to Maintain: $1,338.67 Total Collection Amount $40,737,721.44 - Total Cost of All Bills $34,027,179.91 = 6 710 541.53 Current Infrastructure: 23,999.99 Citizens: 283,571 Working Citizens Daily Infrastructure Cost to Maintain: $1,339.25 Daily Population Taxes (Per Citizen) $143.72 Total Collection Amount $40,754,824.12 - Total Cost of All Bills $34,054,486.61 = 6 700 337.51 6 710 541.53 - 6 700 337.51 = 10 204.02 lost money per 10 infra When I bought 10 infra, I gained 119 citizens. 119*$143.72 = 17 102.68 dollars gained per 10 infra. (1339.25 * 23999.99) - (23989.99*1338.67) = 27 306.6942 increase in infrastructure bills 27306.6942 - 17102.68 = 10 204.02 loss per 10 infra. I must have bought like 600 infra would result in a 6.2 million loss. Added on to any GRL level decreases, my income would have dropped all the way to 6.7 million. Well, if there is a 25k infra jump, I guess people are expected to one day get that much infra. At this pace, though, I'll be in bill lock by around 24 600 infra. Jared
I don't see it mentioned anywhere, but your improvement swapping right? And if those are the costs with doing that, then I guess the only thing you can do is start selling your infrastructure-I never thought I would say that. Also, the fact that infra makes you lose income eventually is stupid IMO.
