Malatose
Visari sipped his wine and looked at the terms presented. 2. Incorporation of the Uberstein mansion in RoM3. Germany will rebuild said mansion 4. Forced promotion of independent cultures (A Celebration of Diversity) OOC: RPing that though Nordlandic exists there will be RPs of Dutch, French etc. 5. Mandatory NAP Seeing as how peace is needed in the world, we'd be willing to accept those terms. However, in addition, we'd like to see a DMZ set up between AWS and the rest of the Nordic Confederacy.

Sarah Tintagyl
After hours on end of discussion from both sides, countless bottles of wine, plates of food, and a few smoking breaks where angry voices could be heard well within earshot of the Conference Hall, Sarah finally stood up with a smile on her face, in fact it almost looked as though she had tears in her eyes. In her hands was a peace of paper, the peace terms that would end the tension that was literally tearing the world apart. "Ladies and Gentlemen, today we have done a great thing, today we have been able to put aside our differences for the time being for the betterment of our countries and the people of the world as a whole. Today, Ladies and Gentlemen a war that was brewing, a war that threatened to literally destroy the Northern Hemisphere as a whole has been diffused. In the recent months we have seen a series of proxy and diplomatic battles resulting from the fall of the Slavorussian Empire to the Nordic Confederacy. Since that time, we have entered a Cold War where many of us did not know whether or not we would see the day after tomorrow. Many of us have insulted each other, disowned one another and pledged the literal destruction of a neighbor. Ladies and Gentlemen today we can now put those days behind us." She dropped the paper the piece of paper to the table. "This is the Non-Aggression Pact between the Nordic Confederacy and the Communist International. The Giants of the World have been able to settle their differences in words instead of in blood and their citizens, their neighbors will thank them eternally." She bowed her head. "I will also thank them personally. Leaders, I had my doubts in all of you, both sides, some of you reaffirmed my doubts as well. But I can also say that you have proven to me that peace can still exist in this world of ours. A friend once told me that peace would be achieved after Slavorussia and he was right, we fought a great battle with our voices, but we have peace and it shall be eternal as long as we honor one another and treat the world as we would treat ourselves." "As such the following terms have been reached. First, both sides have agreed to sign a Declaration of Non-Aggression to prevent further war. Second, the Uberstein Mansion that was invaded during a police action in Germany will be rebuilt with German funds to its prior establishment. Third, the Mansion will function as an Embassy of the Republic of Mariehamm from this point forward, obtaining all the rights that any embassy would have on foreign ground. Forth, a Demilitarized Zone is to be set up between the Nordic Confederacy and the AWS and finally, to better understand both the Nordlandic culture as a whole and to inspire a Celebration of Diversity in Europe. The Nordic Nations have agreed to permit reform to enhance the various cultures that exist in Europe today such as French, German, Dutch, and Danish cultures to name but a few." "Ladies and Gentlemen with the signing of this agreement, I congratulate you that we have finally saved the world for our children to inherit. Our citizens will praise this accomplishments here until the end of time." PREAMBLEThis treaty is signed in the name of friendship, peace, and trade by the Nordic Confedercy and the Communist International. ARTICLE 1: Peace & Friendship i. Each bloc promises to respect the sovereignty of the other. ii. Each bloc promises to try and work out issues if they appear before canceling this treaty. ARTICLE 2: Non-Aggression i. Both blocs agree to not take hostile acts against the other such as spying, funding terrorism, etc. ii. Both blocs are not obligated to come to the defense of one another, nor help them aggressive acts, but can do so if one party wishes to do to so. ARTICLE 3: Withdrawal & Legalities In the event that one party does not wish to be part of the treaty anymore and wish for it to be canceled, they need to notify the other party of its cancellation. After the notification and announcement of the cancellation, the treaty still holds true for 48 hours until it expires. LeVentNoir
1 - As far as Nordheim is concerned, we will not be handing our territories to Slavorussia. As for the other territories, I'd say the decision is for each NC state to decide.4 - Absolutely unacceptable And here we are thinking that you didn't want to war for the land, and that you were going to at least change your cultural genocide. Justinian the Mighty
ooc: Correct me if I'm wrong but Cent made it sound like part of Slavorussia would be restored. He showed me a crude map, and even though I wasn’t happy with it he made it clear it was that or nothing. Right now it seems like its nothing even though I finally came to terms with it and accepted it.
