Construction starts on trenches 500 metres behind the first line of trenches. These are more complex and include 3 Inch Stokes Mortars in reinforced pits. First line is reinforced with 3 lines of barbed wire 4 miles deep and installation of heavily concealed Vickers Machine Gun nests, designed to stop any person attempting to cross. Lewis Light Machine Guns are placed near every checkpoint and are also heavily camouflaged.

First Corrunna Line upgrade is to be started soon with the following modifications:

- Extra barbed wire to increase resistance to infiltrating Drug Smugglers, Terrorists and Immigrants

- Certain sections will be covered in lumber roofs to protect the soldiers inside them from the elements.

- Pungee Pits in unmined areas covered with foliage to catch intruders

- Specially built roads that avoid civilian roads

The upgrade will take longer than the original construction due to the work involved. Estimated Costs is around $12 Million Curristan Dollars and will take around 5 weeks.
