Cataduanes
smugness? what was smug about GATO's conduct in that war?? Edited April 29, 2009 by Cataduanes
New Frontier
I dunno when you have policies like this being enacted by the other side I think they had some license to be "self-righteous." Read that thread - read the replies. If that in and of itself isn't sickening go look at NPO's nations. That is why we fight today. I certainly don't think they were in the wrong, I just think that the whole martyr thing gets old, this thread being a great example. Unko Kalaikz
I think you ought to know that I loathe you. The big question is why should I care? Edited April 30, 2009 by Count da Silva
Homura
Seems fitting to post this image. Not a war I'm proud to have served in. I was in the New Pacific Order at the time. I wasn't unhappy about the war because I love war and was considering joining NPO for this one, but the excuse used appalled me. I've long said that the casus belli should have just been LOLGATO if that's what they really wanted to do, and would have been more valid too. And the whole peace mode thing: you can blame that in a large part on Umbrae Noctem and Koona, who raged against peace mode constantly and happen to both be in it at the moment. Irony. Mathias
I certainly don't think they were in the wrong, I just think that the whole martyr thing gets old, this thread being a great example. So we were in the right, and that makes us wrong?
New Frontier
So we were in the right, and that makes us wrong? No, I just think that someone can be right and still make mistakes.
