Chad
It has come to our attention that officials from Tyranar have given up their lands to the Vaulian Republic. We request that these lands are returned to us. Within Tyranar, there is more than a 50% Crimean population and we wish to bring them back into the Crimean Empire. Imperator Azenquor
"We decline this proposal. Tyranar is a part of Vaule and not a part of Crimea Iso. In line with the wishes of our brothers in Tyranar when they said that they wish to be a part of Vaule, they were made into an autonomous region. Should the Crimean Empire wish to absorb the Crimean citizens living in Tyranar into the Crimean Empire, they may do so. However the territorial integrity of Tyranar shall not be compromised."-Foreign Minister Lt. Kharkov
Chad
There is no territorial integrity of Tyranar. Tyranar is now simply a province in Vaule with ethnic Crimeans living within. Should they wish to move to the Crimean homeland, they may. However, that would mean they abandon their livelyhood all at the hands of the, now, Vaulian administration. The Tyranian lands rightfully belong to the Crimean people...
Imperator Azenquor
"All of the land which constitutes Tyranar was not ceded by Crimea Iso. A significant portion of the territory was ceded by Vaule to the government of Tyranar. Secondly we are following the wishes of the majority of the people of Tyranar. As we have said before, we have no issue with the ethnic Crimeans remaining in the Tyranar Unincorporated Autonomous Region, however if they wish to be a part of the Crimean Empire they may do so easily by returning to Crimea proper. We also state that the estimates of "more than 50% Crimean" are incorrect as that demographic changed quite some time ago."-Lt. Col. Kharkov
Chad
Much of the Tyranian lands were not ceded from Vaule. It was the Tyranian govenment that came to Rostovi Corner to ask for independence and it was granted along with a Crimean protectorate. The protectorate was lifted after a large military downsizing on our part. If Tyranian lands remain under Vaulian administration, we only request, then, the return over 150 M1A2 Abrams tanks that were given to the Tyranian government by the Crimean armed forces. "The initial territory granted to Tyranar was ceded by Crimea Iso, the additional territories were all ceded to Tyranar by Vaule. We are aware of who gave Tyranar independence originally. Crimeans do not constitute a majority in the territory, they constitute a small minority. Regarding the tanks given to the government of Tyranar, we are under no obligation whatsoever to return them. The government of Vaule will consider the request made for the return of the M1A2s, those that remain functional, as well as the ones that were not scrapped, and will inform the Crimean Empire of the decision when it is made. We will state at this point the government is leaning towards a no."-Lt. Col. Kharkov ***Classified*** The Tyranar Unincorporated Autonomous region's local government is placed on a heightened alert. The border with the Crimean Empire is sealed. ***Public*** The regional government of T.U.A.R. has requested that Crimeans living in the region who wish to return to the Crimean Empire are asked to register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and standby to surrender their residency permits upon their departure. Jacapo Saladin
OOC: Just to clear stuff up, not returning full time IC: The Tyranar peoples as a majority, although gaining their first fredom from Crimea, were, and have always identified with the Vaulian ethnicity, which is why when they overthrew the government, they sought admission into Vaule, NOT Crimea. Chad
OOC: Overthrew what government? Their own? And, btw, that doesn't change my claim over the land. Just like how the Falklands belong to the UK, the people are British, and they support the UK, yet Argentina still claims it's theirs... Imperator Azenquor
The First plane of Crimeans leaving T.U.A.S. departed for the Crimean Empire via the Zhukograd International airport. The Air Vaule jet, carrying the 65 people, approaches Crimean airspace and requests landing directions. Local administrators report small numbers of people registering to leave. "The Vaulian Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall wait until those who leave have arrived in Crimea and have completed the necessary applications for the Crimean equivalent of residency, prior to canceling their Vaule residency permits. Once again we reiterate that those who wish to stay may do so. We will continue to guarantee the territorial integrity of the T.U.A.R region and our plans for additional investment in the region will continue unhindered."-Foreign Minister
Chad
We thank Vaule for their cooperation. The aircraft has been given directions to the nearest airport. A group of busses from ImperialTransit have been sent to pick up the new immigrants from the airport.
