There's a real cause and effect thing here, people wouldn't re-roll and hide their true identity if others weren't forcing them to do so (at least not on the grand scale that we see now). If I am takling your point correctly, what you're suggesting is that we should sit still so we can be more easily thumped. If you want to continue the good fight, then you will use your current account (which has a large forum value) and you'll probably stay at war as the terms of surrender are not to your liking. You might want to delete and reroll your nation if you get bill locked, but with the same name. If you want to play the game again with a blank slate and choose a different character and a different path, then you should be free to do so. What perpetuates the use of EZI is when you take a 'hidden reroll', build up for a bit and then come out and attack an alliance for no IC reason (based on your past life's grudges). This is what Jofna was saying he will do and this is the reason that people practice EZI. @RV: That's true, in my opinon – a reroll isn't going to be big enough to be threatening so let them come. But most major alliances seem to think that any nation is theoretically a threat and will deal with it accordingly. Those who then ZI listed you to begin with then use your aid theft as justification for having put you on the list, when had they never done it to begin with you would have never committed the acts for which they are condemning you for. He was saying that rerolling for the sake of damaging an enemy is NOT creating a new character, and that obviously people like that are blurring the OOC/IC line too far. They have no higher punishment left to give me. So that is their new reason to attack me. It just goes on and on but in the end their reasons don't particularly matter to me. It's just them trying another PR shot. "OMG HE STEALZ AID" or "OMG THIS GUY USES N00KZ ON LOWER TIER NASHUNZ". And you're of course right, I would have had no reason to steal the aid that I currently steal as often as possible. But, meh. They'll do as they do and I can't change what THEY do very much. Not until there are enough people doing what I'm doing or revolting in a large war that they lose, will my contribution matter much at all.
