Chapter 1: The Birth of a Nation

Chris Howard was an ambitous, young man. Some say he had an eye for extroardinary things. However, many did not know that he had a plan to get out of the terrible life he had been living in Holy Promethia. He set out, with a crew of 100, to create a small colony in the arctic regions of Antarctica. This he accomplished, and slowly, but in a timely fashion, people came. He named his colony of now 1000 people, States of the Arctic. It was a name that one could fear, yet rely on when the time comes. Chris Howard knew the struggles his people would go through, and that he himself would go through to finally become established, but he was willing to take the risk. This starts our story, of the times before States of the Arctic was known throughout the world.

So the crew of 101 got to work and within a few weeks they had working electricty and a few farms that would help generate food for them as they started construction of the first town. The town was to be the largest in the province, and still remains the largest too this day. It is known as the capital city of Cxzelop. Cxzelop is the most elegant city and is home to the world's largest generator project. The project powers every city's generator and Cxzelop's own generator. Cxzelop has many great features such as the Dome of Wisdom, The Palace of Strength, and the place where Chris, and every leader after him, will always sleep in peace, The House of Trust. All of these features make Cxzelop elegant and beautiful.

This is how the States of the Arctic came to be. It started from 101 men working in the cold to start up a nation that would thrive. However the times to come would be rough. The world would be hard, and nothing would go the way anyone had planned to want it.

A good start. The character dialogue seems out of place and could use some work. Who are these people that are talking? What do they look like? What are their motivations? What are their roles in the story other than just names that seem to be picked out of a hat?

Thanks, do you think you can move it to there for me? I wasn't sure if that was the right place for it or not.

Thanks, I'll arrange it so that the story tells more about them.
