For What We Are About To Receive

It was abundantly clear from the war-zone the Old-World had devolved into that the Imperium had let itself drift somewhat in weapons production. So, with a heavy heart the Imperator ordered the project jointly initiated with the Byzantine Empire and their successors, the United Kingdom, to be accelerated and put into production. Weapons not seen by the world were coming off Imperial Production lines, even as the schematics were sent to the UK for replication fitting the joint-development program.

**Classified to the United Kingdom, attached to Schematics**

In Descending Order.

1. Trench-Knife

The possibility of close-quarters combat and the brutality it entails resulted in the production of the Imperial-Issue Knife fit for work in all environments. Its' edge is sharpened to an amazingly sharp edge capable of cutting through nearly any material, given time.

2. G-1 "Peace Maker"

A standardized side-arm for Imperial Forces, the G-1 fires .45 caliber ammunition of various types pioneered by the decoy 'Bolter' project. Ammunition includes Boomshot rounds intended to incapacitate armored troops through severe kinetic impact.

3. G-2 "Hunter"

Precision-Machined rifling allows the Hunter to achieve near-optimum distance and power for each of its' 9mm bullets. An electrical firing mechanism combined with improved propellant gives the gun unprecedented range. Combined with the underslung Grenade-Launcher it is a capable force on the battlefield.

4. G-3 "Longbow"

The Longbow arose as a bit of a Jack-Of-All-Trades; capable in many roles, yet master of none. The high-powered rifle chambers highly devastating .70 caliber ammunition. Even with state-of-the-art recoil reduction mechanisms and compensators, firing the gun stretches the physical capabilities of the Human Body. Alternate Ammunition includes Tungsten Spikes for disabling Light Vehicles.

5. G-4 "Suppressor"

Defense is a necessary part of warfare. The Suppressor is designed as a single man-operated weapon capable of firing for long periods of time. It's conventional .50 caliber rounds are highly reliable and resistant to jams, testament to the lengthy development period the weapon went through. The weapon can be carried and fired during assaults with difficulty.

6. G-5 "Catapult"

Vehicles too heavy to disable effectively with the Longbow can be outright scrapped by the Catapult. Its' Classified-Size projectile rockets out at high speeds provided by the high-force firing mechanism. The large and highly volatile payload is a Thermite Charge large enough to rip through heavy armor with contemptuous ease. It smacks into the armor and detonates, coating and hopefully sticking.

7. G-6 "Banshee"

For the most stubborn enemy armor which refuses to yield to even the Catapult, the Imperium has designed the Banshee Missile Launcher. It fires a full-sized Imperial Brimstone Missile capable of gutting tanks and other armored vehicles. The Banshee is named such because the massive recoil and rocket engine creates a unique sound said to be the call of the Banshee.

The weapon has immense recoil and weight. As such it comes with an "optional" tripod or stock. That is, if you value your bones and prefer not to break any.

**Classified Response**

The first shipment has already arrived, with our force. Unfortunately there is only a bit more than enough to outfit our Expeditionary Unit, but rest assured more and more weapons are being shipped. We expect they will arrive within a reasonable time-frame.

***Classified response***

Ah, don't worry. We'll wait for the shipments to come. Given our current neutrality, we trust that the operations will come smoothly. Also, we would like to advise that your forces go to Bulgaria (but it is your ultimate choice of where they will go). We may make a decision soon.

Glorious Aotearoa severly doubts a number of your weapons systems. The Suppressor: We wonder how human is supposed to lift and fire what appears to be a gatling type weapon form the hip. The "Catapult": We severely doubt you have the technology for ETC weaponry even then it is highly illogical to apply it to rockets, and even then, the warhead is possibly the worst thing you could use against tanks. Thermite is useless you can get it to stick, and in an exploding rocket, it will do nothing more than create a nice series of spark, if it ignites at all. The "Banshee": We wonder about the sensibility of carry a weapon when a single round weighs 50kg.

OOC: How'd you get a hold of a classified document? Kindly read before posting.

As a note, ETC was carried over accidentally. It's meant to say Electric. It's also meant to be used against Infantry Fighting Vehicles and Light Assault Craft. NOT Main Battle Tanks.

Furthermore, the Banshee is used in desperate times ala defensive positions.

Suppressor is meant to be carried on assault and laid prone, then firing. Use common sense.

OOC: My bad.

Anyway, electric ignition provides no bonus. Thermite in explosive rockets makes them into pretty fireworks, not weapons. Thermite will never work as an anti tank weapon unless you get it to stick then ignite.

Still, 50kg rounds?

It has not stock, and no tripod. Its still impractical.

More and more weapons began to pour off the assembly lines; some in above-ground forges, others in the top-secret underground cities concealed from the world. These massive reservoirs of industrial power were linked by an exclusive set of railways allowing for the express ferrying of raw material and finished goods between points. It was especially useful for the second phase of the project, dealing with vehicles.
