A letter of endearment was sent to the USNA to provide a meeting between leaders.

The New Northern Empire offers a meeting with a government official from the USNA to enjoy an evening together to discuss politics and other matters. This meeting is also in interest of a possible document of relations to keep peace and friendly means between the two nations.

You are welcomed to the humble city of Knoxenwood where the afternoon will be spent at a government owned cabin and the post-modern age castle for dinner.

- Chairman Gage

We are sorry to say the President is unable to attend but we shall send Secretary of State Colon Powers.

-Department of State

Lovely.

Once he arrived at the Hoosville airport, he took a drive down the highway. He noticed how everything felt so normal for a country that is in two wars. When they arrive at Knoxville he was greated by Chairman Gage ad they sat down for lunch in the backyard.

Chairman Gage finally brought something up outside of casual talk, "Our two countries are two very large nations of the north. What we have to deal with in nature is vastly alike and we can relate on most issues. If we look to mutually benefit our economies, we have a communist/socialist system. Would you be willing to work with that, or even adopt some policies to alter your economy to fit ours? Our economy is relatively new and we can not alter anything until we find problems within the system. "

"Well, our economy is somewhat socialist in several areas but more geared towards capitalism and we don't mind working with communist nations unless there's a reason not to like them. We'd be willing to work with a communist government but our economy works well right now so unless something drastic happens it doesn't really seem like it will change. The opening of trade relations would be a mutual benefit for both our nations."

The Chairman and Powers finished thier meal and walked through the cold path through the woods speaking to each other with security follwoing close behind.

"Trade relations would be great, and a limit of tariffs would be even better. Maybe we could set up a possible joint non agression so that we can continue this friendship. What do you say to that?

"Standard Trade Treaty tariffs for most imports in our nation are under 1%. Most exports don't even have tariffs. My government has also asked me to put the offer of a mutual defense pact on the table if you're interested. We feel that it is important for our own security to make sure that our neighbors are safe and stable."

Ah then you wouldnt have a problem defending us then? Well we see no reason why considering your a great nation. We find you more and more likable as our talks continue. The problem is, we sometimes find ourselves in many wars. We are in two as we speak. We would not wish to endager you but we have good reasons for them. We arent war mongers we just get into this predicament alot. If you have no problem defending us we see no reason we shouldnt defend you.

"Seems like a deal then. There is much our two nations can gain from great relations. We generally don't want to become involved in offensive operations unless it is deemed vital to the security of either of our nations. I think an Mutual Defense/ Optional Aggression Pact would be good. We do understand having a war forced upon you as we have been the subject of several of those ourselves."

"We sometimes find the security of our allies is just as important to us. That is why we are joining the war with Slavorussian. We shall support our comrades in Slavorussian and we will fight for them as if they were our own country. We do this for all allies, and you would be no exception. If you wish to sign a treaty with us, you may be involved in the current conflict. If you wish to join us in our fight for our brothern, we can sign now. If now, we ask you sign after the conflict ends."

"I regret to say that there are some old friends on the opposite side of Slavorussia and we'd rather not get involved with that. If however, the war spreads to New Northern Empire Territory we will get involved. We could probably get some forces to Greenland very quickly if necessary. I believe that we should be able to deploy special forces groups on some fronts in Slavorusssia as well but it will be one of those denied operations things or so General Merrill told me."
