The Hanseatic Commonwealth would like to apply for full membership of this Organization because of our claim to islands directly in contact with many of the nations in this Organization.
The Socialist People's Union of IndoChina will also press for full membership in the AEO.

Once we have the amendment decided upon we will consider your applications.

We have no issue with the amendment presented by the NNE.

The Hanseatic Commonwealth would like to apply for full membership of this Organization because of our claim to islands directly in contact with many of the nations in this Organization.

We fully support The Hansa's application.

The Socialist People's Union of IndoChina will also press for full membership in the AEO.

We support IndoChina's application.

Dragonisia, as an occupant of the Indian Subcontinent, seeks to join this treaty and affirms our willingness to honor its conditions.

Signed for Dragonisia

I shall abstain from voting on your entry until the amendments are signed. However I look foward to it.

For Amendments:

3/5

ooc: 90% of the Dragonisian population is Indian.. do you really think this little island supports that many people? And I wish to note the government is not all "white", it in fact has equal representation from all parts of the empire. Do please try to get a grasp on our demographics before you state them. This is best done by contacting us first and asking us how our government is structured to represent its people or by simply reading our fact book which indicates the council adjusts representation based on popular distribution. You know, if you had made this protest in character, it would have been far more entertaining.

OOC: *Frosty sees the OOC lion. Frosty raises his rifle, but does not shoot, for a good shot has not presented itself. The lion stands, seeing food off in the distance. Frosty still waits. The OOC lion turns to the side, giving Frosty a full broadside view of the OOC lion. Frosty knows this lion, for he has been hunting it throughout the various threads. Frosty takes his first shot, shooting at the back. The lion cannot run very far now, for his legs, arse, general leg area are severely hurt. Frosty lines up another shot and pulls the trigger. The OOC lion is shot through the head, never to roam this thread again*. Any complaints about demographics, populations, whether or not an a nation is Asian based, should be conducted IN CHARACTER. NO OOC.

IC:

All applications for membership and observer status are on Hold for the moment. We ask that all nations seeking entry in some form refrain from applying until the current discussions on the table are finalized

Meanwhile, back in Khabarovsk...

I see this revised treaty, but there are some aspects of these new changes I believe we should edit. I propose this document, as an alternative. You'll find its very similar to the new proposed document

Article I: signing agreement

The Signatories of this Article agree to sign this treaty in the best interest of the Asian Economy, and that each member represents a guiding force in Asia. This treaty is not open to non-Asian entities.

Article 2: Definition of Asian Nation

Any nation whose Capitol is located in the Asian continent and 70%-80% of the population is Asian, which ranges from the regions known as the Middle East, Russia, India, and the Far East (ooc: look up Asia on Wikipedia; there you go)

1. The AEO may decide to include non-Asian entities, though that will be an extreme case-by-case basis

Article 3: Membership

Nations may be accepted into ANCA with a 2/3rd vote from the ANCA member body.

A. Only Asian Nations that are respectable Nations may be eligible. Terrorist States or anti-Asian unity nations are not welcome

Article 4: Non-aggression

Section C.

Observers do not have voting rights within the AEO council.

Article 8: Expulsion

Nations may be expelled from ANCA by a similiar 2/3rd vote, and any nation within ANCA can call a vote to expell another member.

Failure to actually participate upon entry will result in immediate expulsion. No vote is required

We cant support the new document as a whole.

I, myself, am an Asian nation with holdings in Greenland. The population there is 32% so with that change I would be kicked out.

We are attempting to unite Asian economics and fight outside interference. We have no problem with allying them, just not in blocs on Asian affairs.

For the third change, we approve of.

The Philippines feels that any nation with territory within 'Asia' should be eligible for membership, the benefits to mutual trade and revenue across a larger space would be immense. As long as the principle that Asia's collective interests are a paramount (to all signatories) we are in agreement with all amendments.

Regarding the current applicants, we approve all request given.

And then there were Four

Northern Empire has been removed from the treaty due to it's collapse.

The Empire makes a request to the A.E.O that funds and supplies be shipped to Imperial work crews in former Altin Urda. The area is devestated, as shown in this recent news report here. The entire region of Central Asia needs to be rebuilt and economically stimulated. Vladivostok and Manchuria have fallen into Imperial hands, and will receive our own internal care on that; it is the regions currently not under control that need severe help. The Empire is already pledging the very last of its Foreign Aid for this fiscal year, and troops and supplies are continuously moving in to help, but we need assistance.

Also on the Table:

Changes to the Treaty

Note: Membership applications are still on hold
