MercyFallout Posted March 21, 2009 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 (edited) New Korea Act: Songdo Trade Towers & Urban Complex Construction Incheon, Empire of Korea: As part of his New Korea Act, the Emperor has broken ground for the construction of a trio of large trade towers in the Incheon area. Though the Empire remains nominally completely neutral in all international affairs, the Emperor has expressed the willingness for the Empire to play a larger role in the World Economy (as seen by the New Banking Reforms which allow for Korean banks to complete security to any client they wish and by the allowing of major Korean companies to head overseas). In following with this policy, the Empire will be constructing a set of three trade towers (each sponsored heavily by one of the three major chaebol corporations: Samsung, LG, and Hyundai & Daewoo--more commonly known as H&D). Each of the towers will be 500 meters in height with 100 floors apiece. The buildings are slated to be completed within five years. At this time, however, the Imperial Ministry of Finance and Trade will be taking offers to lease parts of these towers. With much of Greater Incheon being rebuilt, the New Life Project has begun restructuring a 25 km x 25 km area to prove to the world that Korean economics, technological innovation, and will is able to lead the way into a new future. Within the area, fossil fuel burning cars are not allowed to enter. Transportation will be done through a number of mag-lev light rail lines (mostly monorails) that will stretch across the project district, electric cars, and walking. All buildings within the non-residential portions of this district will be connected by a number of walkways above the ground.
