*Communication to Dragonisian HQ*

You again have attacked us, this time flying bomber and fighters directly at our fleet with weapons radars on. We demand to know why you are doign this, and infact why you are aggrevating this comflict. Tanis has agreed to a ceasefire, we are pulling out, and you attack us. We wonder about your motives as this is the second time you have tried to attack us in secret, the first moving military submarines into closed waters, now a direct attack on our naval assets with militart planes. Was this one just a pilot error also?

OOC: You do know the attack was launched and executed BEFORE the ceasefire was called? You might want to edit that part.

The Interceptor X's saw the oncoming fighters launch large numbers of missiles, the radar return off them identified them as air to air, so, the pilots fired their other 4 air to air missiles each, then performed a J-turn, using the supermaneuverablity of their planes with post stall contol to quickly reverse direction. As they had fired their own missiles at the edge of max range as long as they retreated the less advanced missiles would run out of fuel or lose what must be a shakey lock if it existed. Once the turn was done, they punched afterburner, and rocketed to more than mach 2.5. Still a few missiles managed to track, and two of them struck one of the eight planes, and it disintergrated into a large fireball.

The pilots of the YF-45s knew that a turn in their large bombers was undoable, so fired off their last 7 missiles each, then went to after burner, sending the large jet flying at over mach two towards the on coming missiles. With the large, unstealthy target, many of the oncoming missiles broke off the retreating fighters, and under the wave of hits they took, the two bombers were shredded.

Radar signals played out in the control centers of the Carriers, and from what was observed, both the missile were seen to drop from the screen, while the fighters turned and came back, one falling off the scan while several of the large blips of the attacking bombers also dissappeared along with some of those of the attacking fighters.

On the ships, active defense was set to full automatic, with radar zorching on stnadby, interception missiles on automatic launch, and the hypervelocity point defense guns slaved to BattleNet, and looking for any thing without a friendly identifier in LOS

"As far as we were aware, your nation declared a war with us over the pilot error intrusion into your waterways. If you are offering to include Dragonisia in that ceasefire, we accept, if not we are going to act to attempt to counter what we view as potential acts of aggression in this region on your behalf. We don't want this fight.. you don't seem to want this fight, we're both losing equipment and manpower. Do you want peace?"

The four or five few remaining bombers were still in effective range, which was up to 1000 NM for the mach 6 weapons, 200 NM was the ideal launch range for fully effective strikes against a highly agile enemy, they were still about 600 NM out. They held their Payload for the moment. The escorts and over 1 and a half squadrons were already down. Aoteara's response would be crucial to determine what happened next.

Your nation is ignorant and blatantly aggressive. We were never at war with you, we merely asked for an explanation then, and we ask for one now. You have attacked us twice, both times without provocation. We don't want a war with you yet you keep attacking us. Why?

We are with drawing form the region now that Tanis has stood down, and our only role in that area was to prevent the invasive occupation of the territory of a former ally. With that done, we are leaving.

We ask for compensation for the hardware your unjust attack has caused, and for the families of the nine men lost to your attacks on our naval air force.

"Compensation granted as all of this seems to have resulted from mis-communication. We'll allocate it from the global recovery fund we've established to help Bob recover from this last round of crazy wars. If you're willing to sign a peace treaty, we'll do so immediately, simply call a conference and name the place and our diplomat will be sent. If there is no war, please reaffirm so, and we'll stand down from our posturing. Again, you're welcome to establish a communications criteria by which we can ensure that we will never violate your naval waters again as we offered before. We would be more than content to abide by any protocol you establish. Simply file the claim for compensation with the recovery department..." The telephone # and address to the department set aside for this purpose was thus given.. "You could say some of your prior actions left us a bit paranoid, that said, we will give our apologies."

"Tom Clark will be calling your Foreign Affairs office to work on obtaining regional stability."

## A few hours later##

"Yeah, this is Tom Clark. I am calling to verify the status of our relations.. and schedule a conference with your heads of Naval Warfare to establish a communications method by which we can ensure no future violations of your EEZ can occur by pilot error." The call came over the hot line to GA's Foreign Affairs office.

IC: The Philippines has called upon the current belligerents to cease all military operations, we would be willing to also host a peace conference to end this fighting if their relevant nations so wish it.

With an Agreement reached, the task fleet will begin withdrawing immediately. The Imperial Army will also be turning over control of the city to the Filipino Peacekeeping force.

A civilian fleet is also on its way to Singapore; we have to repair our damaged vessels to be able to bring them home, and we also wish to retrieve what we can from Singapore's waters, things like our lost ships, bodies, equipment, etc

edit:

The southern fleet has already entered Imperial Waters, having left East Pakistan the moment we turned it over to Marscuria
