Vanguard - Nemesis Ordinance.

This really doesn't require any explanation.

The Long Distance Relationship Accords

As sovereign alliances bound by a common purpose and a commitment to professionalism, Vanguard and Nemesis have long shared good relations. In order to solidify their friendship and ensure their sovereignty, both alliances hereby proclaim that they shall protect each other from aggressors.

Article I - Sovereignty

Each signatory formally recognises the right of each party to exercise ultimate internal authority, in addition to possessing a monopoly on the legitimate use of physical force, within its own territory. If one party engages in military or political action against an outside entity, the party does so without implication of the corresponding party, unless otherwise agreed upon through the invocation of this agreement.

Article II - Camaraderie

The membership of each signatory commit to remaining civil towards each other at all times, in any venue, public or private. The signatory alliances and their member states will treat each other with respect and decency, as they would their own. Intelligent debate, discussion and constructive criticism are not to be frowned upon, however both parties are expected to show tact and consideration, by going through appropriate channels when addressing concerns.

Article III - Intelligence

Both signatories agree to share all intelligence they obtain that could prove useful to the other signatory. Furthermore, if either signatory learns of a security breach within the countersigned alliance, or a credible threat to the other signatory, the acquiring signatory will convey all pertinent information to the other signatory. However, there is one exception: a signatory may choose not to disclose information provided by a third party that wishes the information to remain confidential and that holds a treaty with said signatory.

Article IV - Non-aggression

Article IV, Item A. No member of either signatory may participate in, support, or condone military action towards a constituent of the countersigned. If a member nation of a signatory alliance is found to have done so, they will be ordered to offer peace within 24 hours of the initial notification, and pay reparations equivalent to the total damages inflicted. Defending nations are required to allow a period of 24 hours, after notifying their respective government officials of the attack, before engaging in any retaliation. At which point, retaliation is to be limited to the number and type of attacks received. If the attacking nation refuses to offer peace to the defending nation within the specified time frame, and or pay appropriate reparations, without credible explanation, the attacking nation will be expelled from their alliance. Further, the expelled nation is to be considered a rogue by all parties, and dealt with accordingly.

Article IV, Item B. Neither signatory alliance will engage in, or endorse, espionage or subversion against the countersigned, whether through breaching forum security, or in-game methods.

Article IV, Item C. Both signatories, should either be in a position to do so, are forbidden from inflicting the Senator-derived power of sanctions, both trade and aid, on a constituent of the corresponding signatory.

Article V - Mutual Assistance

Article V, Item A. An unprovoked military attack on one signatory is considered an attack on the other signatory. The countersigned are obligated to provide military help and/or financial aid. If a signatory will not provide this required assistance, they must inform the militarily engaged party of this decision within 48 hours of the initial request. Refusal to provide said aid or notification will terminate this pact.

Article V, Item B. Defense obligations are optional if the militarily engaged party acted upon a separate defense obligation.

Article V, Item C. Either signatory may ask the countersigned to provide financial and/or military assistance, towards a military engagement initiated by the inquiring signatory. However, such assistance is voluntary.

Article VI - Anticipation

Article VII - Cancellation

Article VII, Item A. Either signatory may terminate this pact at any time and withdraw its status as a signatory; however, the withdrawing alliance must notify the government of the countersigned, through the appropriate private channels, 72 hours prior to their desired time of termination. However, should either party breach an article of this document, their signatures on the treaty will be perceived as void, unless otherwise stated in the treaty, or previously agreed upon by both alliances.

Article VII, Item B. Upon cancellation, by either signatory, Article V of this document will remain active for a period of seven days, beginning after the appropriate 72 hour notification period has concluded. Article V, Item A is exempt from this clause.

Article VIII - Amendments

Any amendment made to this treaty must first be discussed and agreed upon by the appropriate government officials of each party, and undergo the appropriate processes.

Yes, the S.S. Greenland Republic if the poll on the matter is accurate. :awesome:

We claim victory based off the fact that we have 26 members and they have 204?, and we aren't losing by anywhere nearby that margin.

Also Jarkko, I will consume your soul.
