KingEd
Wait, can someone explain to me why a group people that left an alliance willingly have to pay reps? especially since they had a reason to do so? and I know that they didnt give any warning to MCXA, but i dont see how that warrants reparations? I am not pretending to know the whole story, i genuinely would like my questions answered. The reason is you don't know the whole story and most probably never will, we spoke, we agreed, its a done deal. That's all there is to know It took a lot of time and effort to ensure the best resolution was reached. In the end, this was agreed upon by all parties. On behalf of MCXA, I'd like to accept the apology and move forward. Here's to hoping everything will improve. I agree completely here with Fresh. A solution was reached through proper communication as it should be done when there are problems between 2 parties. I accept TSO's apology personally, and hope better relations develop in the near future. How exactly did this go down?TSO offer this as a 'gift'? Was it demanded by MCXA? Did TOP offer the idea so both parties would be satisfied? Because if it was satisfaction you were looking for...Ej + Lepoard thong is all you needed. -.-' In all seriousness, the answer to this question will reflect my opinion on the situation. Ive always wanted to say this That Information has been deemed as Classified. But here's your answer, we somehow reached that conclusion while talking. I don't think there's a better answer -KingEd
mattski133
Your faux moral outrage at both MCXA and TSO entertains me. You're just disappointed we won't all get to start blowing each other back to the Moon. No need to bring us into this. Is this a first? First time an alliance has bought its freedom, cause, that better not set a precendent, or this game just lost a big edge.
dragonknight1000
an peaceful end to a sticky situation good show TSO for making peace w/ MCXA good luck to MCXA in recovering from their losses and good job to TOP for being peacekeepes
janax
It's not even that much money. Sheesh. If both sides are happy or at least satisfied with the resolution, then so be it. I can understand, (all too well) not wanting to go head to head with your former alliance, or drag new friends into such affairs. If this paltry sum will help begin the healing, it will be worth it to both sides.
Jipps
The reason is you don't know the whole story and most probably never will, we spoke, we agreed, its a done deal. That's all there is to know A simple yes or no would've sufficed. If MCXA is unwilling to give up a simple answer so as to better clarify this situation to this masses, we can only assume that MCXA has something to hide. Please don't inform the public of the transferring of 1.7 billion dollars and expect to not clarify the reason.

Shimmer
1.7 billion is cheap. It's hell to be curb stomped by Q 14-16 days(this is about how long Mk war lasted). You easily suffer a billion in losses there alone. Then about 700 millions in reps.... Oh, and to make it worse your lucky if your nation was a 1/5 of what it was. Very cheap terms for a top heavy alliance. Diplomacy has been very busy in CN lately.
Haflinger
I'm a little bit surprised at how the public opinion has shifted from thinking MCXA has the right to roll TSO, to being outraged that TSO are paying some cash to make up for what they did. Indeed. I for one salute TOP, who have gained considerably in my eyes through their handling of this affair. They've succeeded in taking what could have been a powderkeg and defusing it, all without harming any of the innocent parties in the situation. Sovyet Gelibolu
Really, if one doesn't know, or can't guess, what's going on, one hasn't been in the right channels and/or one doesn't have friends who will open up. Either way, that position is unenviable. Ignorance does not give one a moral high ground, nor the right to demand answers. The people who need to know the intimate details of what went on, do; if one doesn't, one probably shouldn't. Get over it an move on with your lives. If not then MCXA may want to review it's foreign policy and how it treats it's allies.

Yeah, wouldn't it just be horrible to fight for your right to exsist and protect your moral honorablity when all of your pixels are being blown up. It's a shame that people tend to look at this strictly from the cold, calculating, "omg my pixels are gone" view.

Please don't state "You don't know what went on, so don't judge" and then go on to say "The people who need to know, know."
