freakwars
"A commendable mission..." he suddenly coughed, as the language was getting to him sooner than he'd expected. "I am sorry...is there another language I can talk in that you can understand? Our mouths were not made for this language." "Sorry, the only foreign language we have learned so far is Storm Dragon" said the diplomat apologetically. As the Veran Empire did not have a viable air-force at the moment, there was no escort into the landing pad. However, as soon as the plane touched down it was attended to by a flight crew. A CO, Polkovik General by appearance, drives up in a jeep with two Veran Soldiers in it, followed by another with four. He steps down from the jeep and walks up to the plane, waiting for the pilot to exit. The Leader leapt out of the $@pit and landed on the ground. He walked over to greet the General. ViraKhail
The soldiers behind the Polkovnik General murmur amongst themselves in Veran, a moderately aged language that is fast, sharp, and heavily accented. The Polkovnik General quirks an eyebrow, but steps forward, saluting the pilot in the typical Veran fasion, crossing his arms over his chest in an x like shape and snapping his boots together. "Velkom to za Empiyah ov Vehrakees. I am Khagdar Borinkova, Polkovnik General ov za 51st Battalion."

Drinking a glass of water, he grinned thankfully at the aide that had brought it. "I suppose we'll have to make do, then...anyway, you came at an interesting time for something like this--our fate is to be decided soon. Until it is, however, we cannot enter into any agreements." The diplomat looked at him quizzically and tried Storm Dragon, to see if there was a common language they both spoke. OOC: Sorry, thought I already posted this
Subtleknifewielder
The diplomat asked if he could observe the event occurring between the Dwarves and the Mandolorians "Sure. You'll have to fly there, of course..." he turned to one of the scoutrs and asked in Mando'a for the coordinates. they gave him directions. "Just fly Northeast for a little while. You won't miss it." OOC: And i'll say he arrives about half an hour before the event occurs.

ViraKhail
The Veran General had no idea what language the pilot was speaking. He holds up the universal sign for 'wait' by holding up a finger, calls a soldier over, and speaks to him in fast Veran. After about ten minutes, werein the soldier had run off, he comes back with an interpreter/translator. "He ez speekink Storm Dragon." 'Kan you translate it?' "Da." The General nods and the Translator looks to the pilot, translating what the General had said earlier into Storm Dragon after some prompting in a thick accent.
