And the celebrations in downtown Tillery continued into the night after Voobaha's first round win...

This sets up a HUGE game with the Sarnungian Republic, one we look forward to. Nice to start playing teams from outside Liga Mundo for a change!

What is wrong with my team?

All the teams in the Qualifying Round are fairly even - it is a real crapshoot who makes it out. Look at Pool A and B, those will probably come down to one goal deciding, they are so close.

Just for the record, in your first match you were leading for most of it.

POOL ‘A’

The two top teams tied in Pool ‘A’ face off against each other while Sarnungian Republic keeps its outside hopes alive with a meeting against winless Viniland. To make the premilinary round, Sarnungian Republic ideally needs the other match-up to end in a 0-0 draw while winning their own game by at least 2 goals to beat the tiebreakers. Viniland is now playing spoiler to avoid the Worst of the World.

POOL ‘B’

All teams still have a mathematical chance to advance.

POOL ‘C’

Zelderex has clinched first place in their pool after their victory against Quadonia and will now advance to the next round.

POOL ‘D”

Kevodia was knocked out of the running today after Magna Roma won (who holds the tiebreaker should Kevodia and Magna Roma finish tied in the standings). Tritonia must defeat Magna Roma to advance to the next round, while all Magna Roma needs is a draw frm their match against Tritonia.

There's another possible explanation: Brazilian club teams are nowhere as strong as the Brazilian national team. Most likely because all the best Brazilian players are plying their trade in European leagues.

If Voobaha and I tie in our next game...say 2-2... who will move on?

If you and Voobaha finished tied for points, Voobaha would move on due to having more overall goals.

Tiebreakers are as follows:

- If teams are tied for points, the team with the most wins advances;

- If still tied, then the team with the most draws;

- If still tied (indentical W-L-T records), then the head-to-head result is the tiebreaker;

- If still tied (head-to-head result was a draw), then goal difference

- If still tied, then the team with the most goals overall scored

- If still tied, then the team with the least goals overall allowed

- If still tied (indentical records) then there will be a tiebreaker game played
