The Atlantic Fleet, composed of 24 ships and most of the remainder of the Royal Navy, rolled out of ports in the United Kingdom, heading Southward. Aboard 25 Amphibious Assault Ships were a total of 50,000 Marines, whose intention was to retake the Falkland islands from foreign control. They were accompanied by a little over 250 aircraft, 250 of which were planes such as fighters and bombers, the remainder of which were Gunships, which were stationed aboard Destroyers and Battleships. They rolled southwards, together.

From silos based in Iceland, Greeland, and Ireland, 20 Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles launched, aiming for major military grounds in the NAAC. Four went for the capital city of the NAAC and for the largest city besides the capital. Upon striking, they caused massive devastation due to their 4.2kt warheads, the largest non-nuclear warhead ever developed (ooc: this is true. US conducted tests on a 4.2kt conventional warhead in 2006, it is the largest ever developed.). They destroyed a good portion of the NAAC military, as well as some of its navy, as some of the missiles struck Naval installations along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. With the eruption of the fires, many civilian lives were expected to be taken as well in the blasts. British estimates put it at 100,000 NAAC soldiers killed, 1,000 tanks destroyed, and 13 naval vessels rendered unusable, with damage to another 5. These were only estimates though, and the actual numbers could have been significantly higher or lower.

The emergency war council appointed by the NAAC Congress issued an announcement after the attacks claiming that "...the British estimates are purely propaganda. We do not have our military so concentrated that twenty missiles could destroy such a large bulk of them, and several of the claims are numerically impossible due to large portions of our military being deployed across the Americas and the seas. We have yet to assess the damage for ourselves, but we predict it to be much lower than these outlandish claims." In response to rumors of a planned British invasion of the Falklands, the council stated that "If the Falklands should again fall into fascist hands, we will make sure that they gain nothing more than a burning, lifeless, barren rock. The Comintern soldiers are more courageous than the fascist cowards; we will not surrender and we will make ten British soldiers die for every step forward they take on the beaches."

After reports of border skirmishes in the East began appearing, the war council sent the following message to the Confederate States of America:

The NAAC would like to remind the government of the CSA of our policy regarding fascists in the Americas. Should any fascists enter our continent, we will employ the use of our nuclear arsenal to defend ourselves. If you choose to align yourselves with those scum then we will consider that to be the CSA declaring itself fascist. I hope we are understood.

The NAAC has threatened nuclear genocide against the Confederate States of America without provocation. We call upon the nations of the world to rightfully destroy the evil regime oppressing the people of that nation. Leave the fight? We've yet to initiate a single aggressive action. We are defending our lands and will continue to do so as long as there is a single foreigner, be they Comintern or otherwise, in our Confederacy. On land, or in the air. You don't get access to the Mongol-Sweden airspace, and neither do your allies. Given these circumstances, we should already be in a state of...wary peace. If the USC and her allies agree to immediately withdraw all forces from the Confederacy, they will be granted safe passage out of the territories. Until then, your fighting men and women will die needlessly.

As we have specifically stated before, we have no interests in influencing the fate of others, but we will defend our allies if they are engaged in a manner that was not precipitated by any perceived acts of aggression on their end, per the mutual defense terms of the Comintern treaty. That is, to say, if their sovereign lands come under invasion without provocation.

The space-based SDI system was put on full alert, and the AEGIS systems aboard the Atlantic Fleet was put on high alert as well. They would be well-prepared for whatever was thrown at them.

No ship, unless it can produce allied identification, will be permitted to pass through the blockade. This is to prevent aid from going to and from the NAAC/PDFA.
