V The King
Yeah, like the brits controlled their colonies in the americas as well as the portuguese.Owait. South Asian History is not your forte, is it? EDIT: Now how do you say it as impossible?Lets see here. That state of Mysore alone defeated the British many a time. The Mughal army was huge. Along with the Nawab's and Peshwas the British would have easily been defeated. I am a Indian Historian and I know the facts. So please don't talk about something that is highly Impossible. Can you not recognize that the circumstances were completely different? The Mughal uprising was that, a rebellion. All other examples given were invasions, which are not applicable in this scenario. If you genuinely are an "Indian Historian", why don't you cite the fact that the British were definitively not alone (e.g. Sikhs and Pashtuns), or that the Mughali rebel leaders barely knew (if at all) what would they do if they ended up being successful, that in the moment they "restored" Mughal, there was already a three way split on who should be actually ruling the state and that the rebels themselves were quite disconnected, lacking unity? If their army was "so huge it could've easily defeated the British", well, why was the rebellion crushed in a year? I can go on and on why the uprising was doomed to failure. Generalissimo
In this alternate history is entirely possible the Sikhs and Pashtuns supported the Mughals over the British to secure a Mughal victory, this is an alternate history after all, emphasis on alternate. It would not be unreasonable to play an India liberated by William Walker or Simón Bolívar.
