This Week in Pacifica

Recommended Posts

I think it's pretty telling of your attention span that someone with your position/notoriety within NPO is saying that he had no problem getting tech in an article about some personalities getting tech faster than others . . .

No one gets priority in the NPO over others in the Tech Corps queue.

Perhaps my lack of time to read through the entire thread is leading me to miss something here, but The Meaning of Freedom was published in November 2007 (long before Vox or Voxism existed), not this week. It was posted and discussed in the OWF and on the wiki at the same time. But congrats on getting your hands on such a top secret bit of info... I guess...

OP

You're one of the very few people I know that would be able to produce an enjoyable read out of the poor material you had: well written!

(What's your answer to the request I made to you the last week, anyway?)

[...] MHA is stealing our sellers. )):

Shhh! Don't reveal our secrets, you silly man!

<_<

Hmm, some actual intel gathering eh Vox? Oh, what's that? It's not even relevant? Still, slightly better than Chickenzilla's "please Mr. MHA Minister of Babel Fish, tellz me all your sekritz" ichiban plan that you've been trying on me.

And there's daylight between "actual" and "slightly" of course.

Cloak and Dagger

Pacifican counter-intelligence (the sense that leads a ruler to affiliate with Pacifica) revealed a foreign agent within Pacifica's ranks this week when Genjames--a longtime member--confessed before the Body Republic that he is a spy sent by the now-defunt International Coalition of Socialist Nations.

In a tell-all posted early in the week, Genjames revealed that he had taken up the post "on a dare from a friend" and apparently had opted to continue his station long after the guilty alliance had merged to form the Socialist Workers Front, which subsequently disbanded in April of 2007.

The forces of Methusela, under command of Bilrow, are leading the charge to destroy this foul little man, and well they should considering that Bilrow's position within Pacifica has put him in the best reach of tech . . .

Haha, wow, that's a blast from the past. If that's true, he must have been in there for 3 years or so. That is, assuming we're talking about one of the original spies who caused the NPO/LUE-ICSN war. I did always wonder what happened to the second spy. If I recall correcly, the NPO ended the war against the ICSN claiming that all the spies had been ferretted out.

I see Genjames, the Communist spy, has sent aid to his Communist master Comrade Tiki of Tikimana who resides in the International for the reason that "spies were caught", as expressed in his own words.

I am curious as to what the New Pacific Order is going to do about this. What sort of reprisals await the Bolsheviks?

What part?

I will explain once more. Genjames, the spy from the Bolshevik former International Coalition of none other than Socialist Nations, has sent an aid package to Comrade Tiki of the openly Communist International.

The reason for the aid, in James' own words, was "spies were caught". Comrade Tiki, according to encyclopedia entries, is a former ICSN leader.

Thus, we can only draw the conclusion that Comrade Tiki and the spy Genjames were and in all likelihood continue to be working together.

I am asking what the NPO will do to eliminate the Communist master of intrigue Comrade Tiki who is cooperating with Genjames. I am also asking publicly for any INT members to answer how they feel about the presence of spy-ringmaster Tiki within the ranks of their alliance.

More nostalgia. Nice to see Comrade Tiki still going strong. Are you an anachronism as well, Tom? Maybe one of those weirdo anti-bolshevik crusaders from that time? Der Fuhrer? The Racially Pure?

Anyway, I suggest you take a time machine back to March 2006. Your posts are irrelevant now.

If anyone would be getting bumped up the Tech Corps queue, it wouldn't be me. I'm pretty sure you realize that.

Katsumis experience with the NPO Tech Corps was likely a while ago, when it actually moved a bit slower than it does now.

Bolshe-wha? The only noticeable tendency within The International since its inception has been the Mastabo-Gelibolist Tendency. Who the hell are these 'Bolsheviks'?

But, on-topic, I think it's safe to assume that, apart from the smashing work that the folks over in Gramlins are doing with regards to moving tech efficiently, the entire world is facing a significant shortage of smaller nations viable for tech selling as an age of decadence takes hold over Bob. Hence why lots of folks who start new alliances with small nations basically lay themselves out for any of the larger alliances to latch onto them with a protectorate/tech agreement.

What makes my posts any less relevant than your nostalgic dribble, Bolshevik?

Take it easy, mein Führer. I'll happily admit to being a "Bolshevik", as well as that my nostalgic dribble is uninteresting even to others who were around at the time. But at least it has some kind of foundation in reality.

Much like any Marxist text, the link you provided leads to a boring tome which uses many words to describe nothing.

Matthijs, I am flattered that you think of me as your leader but I'm afraid if you truly wish for it to be you must reject your Marxian beliefs.

The allegations have true basis in reality. Genjames was an ICSN spy, was he not? Comrade Tiki was a former member and even was once Defense Secretary of the ICSN, was he not? Genjames has sent aid to Comrade Tiki upon discovery of his crimes, did he not?

What, then, is unreal about my comments?

I know an Emperor Marx, but he's been closer to TGE than the CN Leftist community AFAIK. And I'm pretty sure he hasn't drafted any essays or materials related to CN Leftism.

Matthijs, AFAIK, is not from the Red Planet. Most of Bob is either Blue or Orange. :P

And I can't really say much about the ICSN, mostly because that was nearly three years ago, and I only started breathing air on Bob just a few weeks prior to GWIII. I think that also answers your final question pretty well. ;)

We are not immune ... while I am very happy with our alliance programmes, a Grämlins membership doesn't mean you are wallowing in infinite tech either.

Your continued existence as a sovereign alliance pretty much says that you haven't figured out that parlor trick, yet, either. Kudos, though, on what you've got. :)
