The main parties will be submitting candidates soon (OOC: As in later when I make a topic for it). The major parties are the Libertarian Party, The Leftist Party, and the Rightist Party. They are coming back up and aid has been asked for. The United States have fallen apart and Tennessee has become the head of the United States with Nashville as the capital. Plus some RP time had to pass first... IC: Riots have started in Nashville in light of the change to a US government. They demand to be unassociated with that entity because of is traitorous and insecure air around it. (OOC: They don't mind The United Atlantian States.) In light of this the government has decided to abolish the United States. The Federated Tennessee government has assumed full control of the national Tennessean government. Yort92 Posted June 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 Most of the EMP damage has been fixed and most lines are reopened. Defense projects all over the nation have been completed. F-22 fighters are beginning their first flights. The Warhawk has been determined, through testing, to be more fitted for attack bomber duties rather then a multi-role fighter. Broadly speaking at this point, the system will look like this: 1) A 4 track mainline from Roanoke to Memphis passing through Raleigh, Charlotte, Knoxville, and Nashville. 2) A 2 track branch from Nashville to Mobile passing through Birmingham 3) A 2 track Maglev from Nashville to Atlanta with a stop at Chattanooga. Several important bills are making their way through the Libertarian controlled Congress. Namely an abortion bill, a bill wishing to expand the military (again), and a bill to "protect Tennessee industry" (a protective tariff). News of their progress will be made available as time passes. (OOC: Yea, it's hard to do anything interesting at the time. In a couple more weeks, I'll have more time to think and do something interesting...)
