Chancellor Bismarck
Announcement from Confucianist Government Confucianism has completed a ditch that encompasses every household in Confucianism. In addition, this ditch connects to the ocean, which allows water to flow through the ditch, albeit salt water, and around everyone's home. This way, everyone has water to swim in, as well as to fish. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Pacifism, President

Confucius agrees, which is why it encompasses homes and not farmland. Most smart natives have also mixed concrete in their backyards, to provide a base to their ditches. This way, it is recycled throughout the community and does not seep into the soil.

Then we'll just recommend that you use stainless steel wherever the ditches are, because normal iron will rust quite quickly with salt-water nearby. Lynneth
However, concrete does not. But iron in/on buildings does. Above/nearby the ditches, et cetera. Edited February 15, 2009 by Lynneth
spaero2011
The Federacion government is filing suit against Confucianism for theft of intellectual property. (OOC: U stolez mah ideaz from IRC)
MercyFallout
The Empire recommends that Confucianism uses coquina instead. Chancellor Bismarck
But iron in/on buildings does. Above/nearby the ditches, et cetera. I agree, but please keep in mind that native's huts are made, quite simply, by plants. Since most households are native huts, we don't think this should be a problem. With the homes on the outskirts of cities, they are the standard house, wood with drywall. We'll be fine.

Imperial Garbage Collection Company has offered to sell all shells from the shellfish consumed by the Shillan people. WE ACCEPT! We shall send you 15,000 bananas and an assortment of monkeys and key lime pie for your hardship. To the government of the Federacion, we wonder why. We did no such thing! (OOC: You were discussing digging a ditch for Spain's defense. Just because that gave me the idea doesn't mean it's your intellectual property.) V The King
A most interesting idea. Keep in mind, however, that abnormalities in sea levels, or heavy rainfall, may result in calamity since every residence will be at risk of flooding. EDIT: OOC: Also, enemies could appear from unlikely places, or deliver unwanted loads through the system. Just saying. Besides, when the monsoon comes, they are always flooded. This would make no difference. In fact, it is part of the "bringing about" of the manhood of each boy, paddling their canoe in the monsoon.
