heres my idea for the tech chart : compact it into 3 levels

tier one

is 1985 tech levels and previous

this will be for people with less then 1000 tech

tier 2

is 1990 to 2010 - 1000 - 2500 tech

tier 3 is 2010 and beyond - 3k minimum to be able to rp this tech level

That is awfully broad, maybe break down the first catagory

0-500 Vietnam Era

500-1000 Early 80s

1000-1500 Late 80s

1500-2000 Early 90s

2000-2500 Late 90s Early 00s

The problem is how do we balance that with larger nations tech being too much.

One possible idea is we could use the old tech share formula with a client state system:

Nations with Burdgeoning Economy Can take on one client state, nations with vibrant economies can take on two, economic powerhouses 3, and industrial super powers 4.

Yes, but I'd prefer for you to RP it out rather than start out with a big Empire.

Ah, because there's an unnamed red spot in the Falklands, I'm not sure who it belongs to though.

Germany in WWII after the invasion of poland encompassed Poland, Germany, Austria, and parts of the Czech Republic, seen below:

Question, Triyun.

I figure I'd might as well join but I have a question. I'm gonna claim a bunch of land around the Gulf of Mexico (all within SoI of course), but I was wondering if the "large nation without the infra to support it" thing would come into play since most of my SoI would be water.

I redid it.

A couple of things about the map:

-Use dark colors. Cool colors make for maps that are easier to look at. Warm colors are generally not eye-pleasing

-Use small fonts. On my maps, no font will be over 30 pt, and not under 11pt. This is to allow for uniformity with flexibility

-Don't edit the map unless you have the .psd

-If you want to edit the map, ask for the .psd

-for the love of god, don't edit the map

Areas wanted: Aleutian Islands, Bering Sea

Ethnicities: Procinctian, further ethnic/racial breakdown remains unquantified, as Procinctia’s government believes race and ethnicity to be antiquated social constructs. Foreign sociologists believe the Procinctian population miscegenated from Aleut, Asian, and Caribbean Mestizo populations.

GDP Formula suggestion:

Base: (Avg. Gross Income Per Individual Per Day) x Citizens x 36500 x Infra Multiplier

Infra Multiplier Formula

0-500 Infra Chronically Underdeveloped economy: 0.25

500-1000 Infra Severely Underdeveloped economy: 0.5

1000-2000 Infra Underdeveloped economy: 0.75

2000-4000 Infra Developing economy: 1

4000-6000 Infra Burdgeoning economy: 1.25

6000-8000 Infra Vibrant economy: 1.5

8000-10000 Infra Economic Powerhouse: 1.75

10000+ Infra Industrial Super Power: 2

I'm not sure about the multiplier for below 2000 infra, but the rest seems perfect.

As part of our universal claim, Transvaal would like to claim all the orange and green territory on this map.

Please mark all orange as Transvaal and green as Natal (an in-game nation whose independence we are treaty-bound to perpetually recognise)
