DeSchaine
OOC: Havent heard from Ranather, so I'm going forward. IC: Four Taeunas choppers touched down just on the Hansa side of the border with Neo Franz. Only a handfull of people from the embassy had made it out, but this included the ambassador, several staffers and a few of the security troops. Major Davis took command of these and set about building a makeshift camp. The satalite comunications gear was set up and a message sent to the Taeunas command center. An extraction team was dispatched at once. In the senate, debate raged. The majority of the senators wanted to strike back at the Germans for what they had done. A lesser group warned against it, saying that any such strike would incur a similar strike on Taeunas. President DeSchaine sat in his command center and sighed. If such a strike was to take place, it would be with the full might of Taeunas' long range weapons. Hundreds of cruise missiles were being preped. Bombers and fighters being fueled and awaiting orders. Part of Christos burned for vengance on the Germans for what had happened to Hansa, but another part worried for his own.
