If any of you have any objections with the breed of the flu viruses, feel free to tell me. ---------------------------------------------- IC: A total of 334 people in the quarantined area in GLS are reported to have died, and another 639 are reported to be infected. The flu viruses are believed to come from the nation of Confucianism and spread to Europe and then into GLS. Investigators are currently investigating what type of the flu viruses in GLS are, but they did say the flu virus breed is unknown. The massive GLS infrastructure upgrade project have been delayed. Quarantine centers have been set up to help evacuate the healthy people out of the quarantined area by holding them in air sealed cells for 72 hours to see if the people are infected. The entire nation is currently under a lock down, no one will enter GLS without permission or exit (unless if they have been tested negative in the quarantine centers.) All of the foreign construction workers from Bohovia have been evacuated, but they are currently in the quarantine centers. Investigators have discovered that the deadly flu viruses are a mix breed of H1N1, H2N2, H3N2, H5N1, H7N7, H1N2, H9N2, H7N2, H7N3, H10N7, and other flu viruses. It turned out birds infected with the flu virus flew outside of the quarantined area and sparked new outbreaks in the non-effected area in GLS. GLSWPC (Great Lakes State Weapon Production Company) is currently researching on how to produce anti-bird guns, but not much progress have been made. The border areas are in chaos. Local police and military force were dispatched to control the flood of people trying to flee the nation. Riots sparked when the people were fed up with the police and military trying to slow them down. 457 people were killed and another 1,256 were injured in the riots that sparked in the border areas. 3,156 people have been confirmed dead and another 9,363 people have been confirmed infected. Offical Statement:GTI hopes that a cure is found. Wecan send our best doctors, along with researchers to find a cure. Reply from GLS government: We thank you for your help. However, be warned that once you enter GLS, do not expose your doctors and researchers to the air unless if you have ways of getting rid of the viruses that will cling on the air sealing suits. OOC: Great Lakes State is located in the North America, not Europe. --------------------------- IC: The number of people that died from the flu and are infected is still increasing. 4,133 people have confirmed to be dead and 11,974 have confirmed to be infected. The flu viruses have spread from the center part of GLS to all the way to the GLS-West Virgina border, GLS-Bohovia border, and GLS-Saboria border area. Various spots of infected area dotted parts of the unaffected north-western and eastern part of GLS. GLS capital city, New City, is threaten by the rapidly spreading flu viruses. As for the 11,000 workers in GLS from Bohovia, the governemnt had to make a descsion weather to call back all the workers, or to keep then in quarentine in GLS, they have voted 45-4 to keep them in GLS in qurentine, we will also be closing the boarders beetween, Bohovia-GLS, Bohovia-RV, and Bohovia-Saboria, no body is allowed in or out (unless the have been tested to not have the virus), we will keep you monitered. The flu viruses have hit the capital city of GLS, New City, hard. Nearly 50% of GLS area have been declared infected. The hardest hit hospital in GLS is Kerby's Hospital. There is nearly 4 feet of dead bodies piled all over the place. All of the doctors and most of the nurses are dead, and a few of hospital staff members are still alive, barely. GLS military have took the virus spread control to the extreme, firing sound rockets into the air constantly as an attempt to keep the birds from spreading the flu virus any further. The border control was ordered to not let anything or anyone in, or out unless if the person(s) have permission to enter GLS and have the correct equipments. Andonia successfully prevented the spread of this disease by isolating all infectees in the airport. OOC: Where? If it is the GLS International Airport, it would be useless and metagaming. After raiding our own GLS CDPC, we discovered some research files on the virus. The flu virus can live up to 3-4 weeks without a host. It can spread through not only humans, but horses, birds, rabbits, dogs, goats, and pigs. The virus symptom in infected humans show up after 30 minutes to 2 hours after being exposed to the virus. It takes from 48 hours to 56 hours for the human to die from the suffocation due to fluid filled lungs. Symptoms first start as sore throats and coughing, then into stronger coughing, and then the mucus that is coughed up starts to contain lung fluid, tissues, and blood. All of the border areas are infected. Most of our military is dead or barely alive. We have gotten a weather forecast that predicts a 40 mph wind may strike GLS and push the viruses toward the eastern direction or the south eastern direction.
