JEDCJT Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 (edited) OOC: I assume I have 1950 Tech, so I can have the T-34. IC: Saint Petersburg, Russia The City of Saint Petersburg was one of the beautiful cities, if not THE, in Europe and the world. A 'window' to Europe, Saint Petersburg was the capital of a glorious empire that spanned much of the Eurasian mass for centuries. Until that Empire collapsed midst chaos, disorder, and instability. Now Saint Petersburg is in chaos. Murders, robbings, and other terrible actions were being committed on the city's devastated streets; it was a 'every man for himself' situation as everyone struggled for survival. The Russian people, teetering on the edge of catastrophe, needed a strong leader to look up to, and soon. Sporting the banner of 'Peace, Bread, and Land', the Russian Soviet Worker's Party, or better known as the Russian Soviet Party, rose up against anarchy. Thousands of troops of the 'Revolutionary Soviet Army' marched all over Saint Petersburg and seized strategic points in the capital, as such as the telegraph offices, railroad stations, communication centers, and other government institutions. In time, law and order were restablished as Red soldiers were stationed on most streets and blocks; criminals and wrongdoers were arrested and imprisoned. St. Petersburg was now firmly under Soviet control. Stepping up to a podium in front of the Tauride Palace, in the center of Saint Petersburg, a figure scanned the crowd as he arranged his speeches. The crowd of approximately 500,000 held their breath as they looked at the figure, which was guarded by heavily-armed soldiers of the Revolutionary Soviet Army. Was this man their new leader? Finally, the man began. "Hello, people of Russia. I come before you to let you all know, my people, that I have come here to restore peace, law, and order. As you see, the previous Government refused to do so, preferring to tender to their selfish, bourgeosie desires instead of the People! For far too long, the Russian people have been oppressed by the 'capitalist exploiters of the bourgeosie; for far too long, we have suffered because of the wishes and desires of a few others!" He paused for a moment. At that, the crowd gasped and murmured agreements along themselves. The man continued. "Well, this is no longer the case, for the Russian Soviet Worker's Party have seized powers from these exploiters for the advant of the working class! No longer will you all oppressed! No longer will you have to forage for food! No longer will you have to live in fear for your life! No longer all that! For from this moment forward, you all shall live in peace, harmony, and equality! From this moment on, the Russian Soviet Republic is proclaimed, and it shall serve as a beacon of world equality and socialism! Long live the Revolution! Workers of the world, unite!" With that, the crowd erupted into applause and celebrations. It seems that they had finally found their leader. Vladimir Ulyanov Lenin smiled as he got off the podium to greet the crowds... JEDCJT Posted February 13, 2009 Author Report Posted February 13, 2009 (edited) Now that Soviet power was firmly established in Saint Petersburg, the new Soviet Government outlined new plans for the immediate future. Speaking at the newly-opened First Party Congress, Lenin insisted that the "time had now come for us to further consolidate Soviet power and to spread the Revolution to the rest of Russia. Let us begin now." The plans, outlined under the guise of the Extraordinary Plans of the Soviet Republic regarding Russia and its People, went as follows: The organization and centralizing of the 'Revolutionary Soviet Army' The renaming of St. Petersburg to Petrograd, as to give it a distinct Russian name Drafting of a Constitution What the Party Congress didn't mention, however, was that the Revolutionary Soviet Army was tasked with the seizure of Petrograd's immediate vicinity, and with the aim of seizing Moscow, the center of traditional Russian power and the next largest city after Petrograd. The organization of the Army for this purpose would take weeks and even months, but it would be accomplished. Edited February 13, 2009 by JEDCJT Quote

They see these things that look like humans. They would most likely treat them with hate as well, unless they represent themselves better. They hate humans becuase humans usually burst in, kill stuff, and then build stuff. Without respect at all. So they're hated due to that. They respect other races like the other city they are attacking; they don't leave their enemy's corpses all over, don't ransack & pillage, and don't humilitate. Quote

Vasili Markov Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 A couple of Neo Olympian diplomats led by Kitsume Nasagauwa has been sent to greet the Russians. Upon arriving by plane she went to the government offices and introduced herself and asked to speak to the leader. "Please accept this humble gift from our government as a token of peace" She said and presented the man with a small case that contained an elaborately decorated gold writing set, She bowed formally as this gift was offered. "Hello Leader, We are the representatives of the Olympian Federation, We come in peace and wish to learn of your people. I am Kitsume Nasagauwa and I will be your contact to the leaders of my people." She said and bowed formally "Please tell me of your government style" She added looking inquisitive. Quote

Lenin said, smiling. "As for me, I am Vladimir Lenin, and I'm the leader of the Russian Soviet Republic, and I must say, you're our first diplomatic contact."
