As of today, the only crude oil left underground - at least as far as we know - has been used up; all mined and piped away. Only the Artic Circle holds oil. August 22nd, 2023, X News Agency International tensions rose today to extreme levels as the race for the last oil on Earth begins. Canadians try to use politics to gain access to these resources, yet the US, Russia, India, China, and others use what ever means necessary to gain this oil, ignoring Canada completely... ...And, although this has not been clarified, there are rumors that many military forces still have oil hidden away. As a result, riots have broken out across the world from keeping the oil. September 19nth, 2023, X News Agency Small fights from company's conflicting claims, as well as country's claims, has resulted in Marines from many different countries being brought in to monitor the tedious situation. UPDATE: These marine forces have engaged in some fire-fights! Many countries are now pointing the finger at one another for who started it, and tensions are getting hot. More information as the situation progresses! UPDATE: USA has begun blaming the Russian New Union, and the same vice versa. There is even the possibility of War over this last spec of oil! September 20th, 2023, X News Agency WAR! THE US OF A HAS DECLARED WAR ON RNU, AND THEIR ALLIES HAVE DECLARED ON ONE ANOTHER AS WELL! PLEASE REMAIN CALM! GET FOOD AND SUPPLIES ASAP, MAKE A BOMB SHELTER, DO SOMETHING TO SURVIVE! UPDATE: All parties have agreed to not use Nuclear weapons, else destroying life as we know it. February 23rd, 2024 The last day of modern humanity as it was known. Previously many saw this coming and made both themselves and others (i.e. larger for more people) bomb shelters, vaults, bunkers, etc. for when the bombs and nuclear weapons flew. Today, two Nuclear-Weapon-Armed submarine missions (one USA, the other RNU) coincidentally were detected getting close to their enemies coasts. Then they nuked each other to bits, and every other nuclear device was shot at another. Nuclear Winter had come. Most did not survive initially, and others after from fallout. Humanity was forced in these cages for so long that they became very primitive. -After thousands, maybe even 500 thousand years, the world was by far a different place. Many common animals died (some survived, alas mutated or with some humans). Humans changed little, if at all, other than those that either went to the surface early or were up on the surface (and thus mutated as well, like the Vampires). Some of the land was changed from impacts, many organic lifeforms died but surprisingly came back fast, many with mutations. -New species appeared. Some were merely a different color; others were a entirely new race, including many that were up to, even, or more intelligent than the average human being! -In this new age, oil is more scarce; or at least it seems so. Oil, instead of being like modern day in large reservoirs, it is much more spaced out & located in populated areas. There may even be more oil than before, if all found. ...And that's all!
