Chancellor Bismarck
Today, we are proud to announce the construction of Confucianism's first Air Forces. These consist of our Strategic Air Command and Tactical Air Command, or SAC and TAC. Strategic Air Command is the bombing wing of our Armed Forces, and consists of 30 squadrons of 8 planes each. With the addition of these squadrons, we will also be constructing a total of 20 new Air Bases, as well as incorporating SAC Commands into our Military Command Chain. It is a huge undertaking that will no doubt take an extraneous amount of time, and will cause a strain on resources, but we are confident that we shall pull through. First Squadron (Very Heavy) - 8 Tu-160's Second Squadron (Very Heavy) - 8 Tu-160's Third Squadron (Very Heavy) - 8 Tu-160's Fourth Squadron (Very Heavy) - 8 Tu-160's Fifth Squadron (Very Heavy) - 8 Tu-160's Sixth Squadron (Very Heavy) - 8 Tu-160's Seventh Squadron (Very Heavy - Minuteman Squadron) - 8 Tu-160's (all in flight in ten minutes) Eigth Squadron (Very Heavy - Minuteman Squadron) - 8 Tu-160's (all in flight in ten minutes) Ninth Squadron (Very Heavy - Minuteman Squadron) - 8 Tu-160's (all in flight in ten minutes) Tenth Squadron (Very Heavy - Air Refueling) First Squadron (Heavy) - 8 B-52's* Second Squadron (Heavy) - 8 B-52's* Third Squadron (Heavy) - 8 B-52's* Fourth Squadron (Heavy) - 8 B-52's* Fifth Squadron (Heavy) - 8 B-52's* Sixth Squadron (Heavy) - 8 B-52's* Seventh Squadron (Heavy - Minuteman Squadron) - 8 B-52's (all in flight in ten minutes)* Eigth Squadron (Heavy - Minuteman Squadron) - 8 B-52's (all in flight in ten minutes)* Ninth Squadron (Heavy - Minuteman Squadron) - 8 B-52's (all in flight in ten minutes)* Tenth Squadron (Heavy - Air Refueling)* First Squadron (Medium) - 8 B-2 Spirit's Second Squadron (Medium) - 8 B-2 Spirit's Third Squadron (Medium) - 8 B-2 Spirit's Fourth Squadron (Medium) - 8 B-2 Spirit's Fifth Squadron (Medium) - 8 B-2 Spirit's Sixth Squadron (Medium) - 8 B-2 Spirit's Seventh Squadron (Medium - Minuteman Squadron) - 8 B-2 Spirit's (all in flight in ten minutes) Eigth Squadron (Medium - Minuteman Squadron) - 8 B-2 Spirit's (all in flight in ten minutes) Ninth Squadron (Medium - Minuteman Squadron) - 8 B-2 Spirit's (all in flight in ten minutes) Tenth Squadron (Medium - Air Refueling) Tactical Air Command, or TAC, is the Fighter Air Wing of the Confucianist Air Forces. With the construction of TAC, we will be constructing another 25 Air Bases for support, storage, and targeting, 150 radar posts, and 25 listening posts in the country and along all of our coastlines. It will have a total of 30 squadrons, each having ten aircraft, and with the amount of airbases, in case of attack, all can be airborne in no less than 20 minutes. With a total of 300 planes and 25 air bases, we can launch 12 planes from each base in this timeframe. First Squadron - Ten J-10's Second Squadron - Ten J-10's Third Squadron - Ten J-10's Fourth Squadron - Ten J-10's Fifth Squadron - Ten J-10's Sixth Squadron - Ten J-10's Seventh Squadron - Ten J-10's Eigth Squadron - Ten J-10's Ninth Squadron - Ten J-10's Tenth Squadron - Ten J-10's Eleventh Squadron - Ten J-10's Twelfth Squadron - Ten J-10's Thirteenth Squadron - Ten J-10's Fourteenth Squadron - Ten J-10's Fifteenth Squadron - Ten J-10's Sixteenth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Seventeenth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Eighteenth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Nineteenth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twentieth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twenty-first Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twenty-second Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twenty-third Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twenty-fourth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twenty-fifth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twenty-sixth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twenty-seventh Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twenty-eighth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Twenth-ninth Squadron - 10 Su-37's Thirtieth Squadron - 10 Su-37's This achievement will take quite some time, and will definetly be a big effort by the government of Confucianism. Our factories are already at work pushing out the designs, recently made by the engineers at Confucius Research National, soon to become the National Research Center. We are not entirely sure how long it will take, and estimates vary all the way from 6 months - 1.5 years. However, we plan to throw our entire backing behind this project, and complete it as soon as possible. The recent attack on our nation makes us believe that this is the best course possible to promote peace in our region. By bringing our status up to 60 squadrons of Bomber and Fighter craft, we will be able to respond to any threat with speed and efficiency. Sincerely, Pacifism OOC: IC designs are comparable to real-life designs. *EDIT: B-52 is a change noted on Feb. 14, 2009. They will be complete once the entire completion reaches 100% because of it.
