King Elijah I Offers His Thoughts

"Even though Franzharia remains very much a Monarchy, I am personally very proud to be the first Monarch to be in office during a fully Democratic Election process in our Kingdom. Unlike my father, Ranather, I have chosen to take a hands off approach to Democracy.

I fully trust in the processes in place to provide a properly functioning Government that adheres to our principles and that will properly represent the will of the people. From Feb. 15th onwards, Franzharia shall come to be known as a Parliamentary Monarchy, continuing our traditional Monarch-Chancellor-Prime Minister system of Executive Government while moving towards Representative Legislature at all levels of Government.

In this new day of Democratic Monarchy, we are moving towards greater freedoms and liberties once strangled under the Authoritarian Imperialism of our past, and doing it well."
