Minimum tolerance for success is 200 useable locations. If over 1000 useable locations search will expand to an additional 5000 survey locations. Current additional needs of the expedition include: 5 months additional supplies in food and fuel for emergancy possiblities. 3 new class 5 tents to replace damaged tents. 2 additional medical personnel for the increased risk of possible harm. 6 additional trucks, and 3 jeeps for the increased supplies and for parts. 10 additional Tonnes of high quality PETN after quailty control screening. 5 Tonnes of low quality PETN. 120 additional pairs of socks. Status: 192 hours after start up 3rd survey company in survey area 1 reporting 15 of 48 sites surveyed are suitble for digging. No events to report. 6th survey company reports break down in two trucks and loss of a day and a half to conduct repairs. 7 out of 22 sites surveyed are suitble for digging in Area 2. 3 out of 7 areas surveyed are suitble for digging in Area 3. Status: 271 hours after start up 3rd survey company reports 1 injury due to enviromental factors; Non-critical condition; fit to heal on site. 33 of 79 sites surveyed are suitble for digging in Area 1. 6th survey company reports 1 truck broke down beyond field repair. Position has been noted, and cargo distributed. All usuable parts have been removed. 15 out of 41 sites surveyed are suitble for digging in Area 2. 12 out of 29 sites surveyed are suitble for digging in Area 3. Quote

No further reports. 69 of 103 sites survyed are suitible for digging in Area 1. 6th Survey Company reports second truck has broken down again. Parts from the first truck have gotten it moving again with little time lost. 36 of 66 sites surveyed are suitble for digging in Area 2. 31 of 47 sites are suitible for digging in Area 3. Quote

Moving on to Area 4. Expected transit time, 15 hours. 6th Survey compan has finished Area 3, and has moved materials to start the finishing of Area 2. 71 of 131 sites surveyed are suitible for digging in Area 2. 52 of 100 sites are suitible for digging in Area 3. Geological samples, photographs, and marked maps have been sent with this document for study and analysis. Quote

Bodies have been recovered, and are being sent back to the city. 97 sites out of 150 surveyed are suitble for digging in Area 3. Transit to Area 6, and final survey section, expected 24 hours. Quote
