Thomasj_tx
Rebirth of the Neutral? Interesting, to say the least. Naw, no rebirth. We have always been living and breathing. Now we have just reached an agreement with the other Alliances that were party to the Peace Terms. It is fun to be on PB and to interact with all of his Alliances! Badbrownies
As a former GPA'er, I won't lie, I teared up a little bit when my friend put this on my desk over at the Trilateral Commission. It is a wonderful thing to see this happening and you guys are the perfect model to dedication, loyalty, and perseverance. Congrats to the GPA! Now, don't go blowing off nuclear fireworks in celebration
Tequila Mockingbird
I find it quite unsettling that an alliance was subject to such prolonged terms of surrender. Especially since the alliance is neutral and the term in question is militarily inclined. Congratulations to the Green Protection Agency though. jerdge
Congratulations GPA! G.P.A. the best reason to love green [...] as the GPA has given us no reason to continue enforcing this particular term, [...] Certainly it was reasonable and "standard" to issue terms that included nuclear weapons limitations. But it also must be acknowledged that the GPA never gave any reason to think that they would have abused their nuclear firepower. Just another outstanding trait of the greenish hippies! apriland
Congrats to the GPA in the final end to the War on Peace. Good luck maintaining your neutral image and sovereignty in the future. Zero-One
Very impressive. 11 months and GPA had kept the term to the letter. This shows great restraint and membership control. I firmly believe that GPA today is stronger than the former ghost of itself. Stronger not in term of superficial NS or nuke counts, but rather in community cohesion, core membership strength, and leadership ability. Congratulations to GPA, you guys deserve this. Mongrel
I'm happy to see this day has finally come. That surrender vote was the closest GPA vote I can remember, if it were up to me I'd still be fighting rather than validate a pathetic CB by accepting surrender. I always felt accepting those terms only laid the groundwork for future "harvests" whenever the powers that be decided they want a distraction. I only hope my beliefs are a fantasy. UberSpion
Honestly 11 months.. Really.. 11 months.. This announcement is garbage. Should have happened months ago. I see no reason for something like this. Especially with no resistance.

TruHartBrakN
sure about that? Keeping nuclear restraints on an alliance for 11 months may not be civil behavior but it certainly doesn't equate to genocide.

It specifically states that the term remained in place for so long mainly because of forgetfulness. Christ almighty. Congrats GPA o/ I don't see how forgetting the terms the victors handed down to a neutral alliance makes it better. They held to the terms forced upon them, their overlords forgot. I guess I can hail forgetfulness though o/. Edited February 3, 2009 by Balder
