Other alliances might offer you huge aid packages to join which is good in the beginning when you need it. That takes some of the fun out of the game though by bypassing the nation building part. Although the AIS doesn't offer aid packages for joining we do offer the following:

1. Full support (including small aid packages when available) on building your nation;

2. Full protection - Although we are a peaceful alliance and do not wish to go to war, NEVER attack first, and will always try diplomacy first, we will stand behind you in a fight.

3. Open trading throughout the Cybernations Community regardless of which color team you choose.

4. The chance to really have a say in YOUR alliance. The chance to take charge at election time should you be elected to a position of leadership. We do not appoint leadership. Through your work and visibility, you will earn a reputation for leadership, run for office over a six day period, and hopefully be elected by the nations of the alliance. Races for office and elections will be held during the last week of each fourth month beginning in February.

5. The opportunity to continuously help with the development of the alliance.

6. An alliance that is run by the vote. Three main bodies make up the alliance, the Executive Secretary, The International Secretariat, and the Coordinating Committees. These three main bodies review and vote on all alliance activities and then take the final vote to the rest of the member nations. This process prevents any one person of the alliance, including the Executive Secretary, from having the single vote and final say.

Here is a brief explanation of each leadership title:

Executive Secretary - The founder and president of the Alliance. Can not be voted out of office. Can be vetoed by the Secretariats and the Coordinating Committees. Oversees the daily activities of the Alliance as a whole.

International Technical Secretariat - gathers and distributes information, facilitates contact between The Alliance and other nations and alliances, participates in and reports on relevant meetings, analyses important international processes, and maintains the logistical activities of the Alliance including war.

International Coordinating Committee - A Group of 9 member nations who continuously recruit new member nations to the alliance. The checks and balances body of the alliance who meets weekly to review and monitor the work of the alliance.

Regional Secretariat - There are 9 Regional Secretariats. They oversee the work of the Regional Coordinator and Regional Coordinating Committees and make recommendations. Also the final voting body for going to war should we have to protect ourselves. This vote takes place only after all member nations have had a chance to vote, if the proposal passes, the Regional Coordinating committees vote, if that committee passes the war resolution, the regional secretariats vote.

Regional Coordinator - (similar to a governor) who serve as the chair person of one of the 9 Regional Coordinating Committees.

Regional Coordinating Committees - 9 member nations in each of the 9 alliance regions who perform the bulk of the activities for their respective region.
