Eomer the Young
I live in Baton Rouge and was recently hit by Hurricane Gustav. My house and all is okay, but I was without power for about 4-5 days. I sincerely doubt I will ever be without power for 20 days, but if that is the case will my nation be deleted? I had every intention of checking my nation, but had no chance because of the power outage. Is there a way to let a mod know that a hurricane will probably hit my area before it actually hits, and my nation can be spared?
thedestro
Nation-sitting maxes out at 10 weeks. Imo it's a very generous amount of time.

I guess I could look into a nation sitter, but it's not exactly easy to contact him when I don't have power and I don't know when my power will go out. enderland
What you can do (I think) is get a sitter before a hurricane comes, and mention that you might be eligible to return early (depending on power) and once that gets approved, return early. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll just ask someone in my alliance to nation sit for me.
