There wasn't, but if your add/drop line cuts some of the sanctioned alliances off, it's probably faulty. And no, IDIOT's been growing all day, you used the "Display All Alliances" page, which updates once every 12 hours, I believe, the numbers on which happened to exactly correspond to your post.

Commentary

Quite an exciting day today. A few moves on the sanction board, but nothing big. Orange Juice took second place from National Alliance of Arctic Countries. IDIOT managed to pass The Pacific Army with an almost three point gain! Maybe there forced recruiting strategy works... Obviously due to IDIOT, Aurora Borealis got passed by every alliance on the board that hadn't already passed it. Aside from Federation of United Civilized Kingdoms, that is. They fell below the drop line today. The real battle today happened below the sanctions. Grand Global Alliance, Crimson Empire, and Viridia each rocketed past the add line and everyone above it to settle right below the sanctioned alliance. Vox Populi, and Sparta were spared from the latter two, but Grand Global Alliance rocketed past the two to settle in 13th, narrowly missing the last sanction spot by 0.10 score! Overall, a very interesting day. I would keep my eye on Grand Global Alliance, if they keep up their pace, they'll be passing Duckroll by tommorrow!

Commentary

First of all, shout out to the Aqua Defense Alliance which managed to shoot up the rankings and passed the add line, welcome to the race. We must also bid farewell to Aurora Borealis, they were offered a chance to join IDIOT but instead chose to fight, it looks like that might have been a poor choice as they have now dropped below the drop line and are no longer part of the race. It was a rough day if you were not a sanctioned alliance, as 8 of the 10 alliances below the sanction spot posted losses. Rough.

War News:

The Superfriends posted some impressive growth numbers while maintaining their joint war venture with The Citadel against The NAAC. The NAAC unfortunately it showing signs of the war, taking home the biggest loser position. It will be interesting to watch how Orange Juice's entrance in to war against Citadel in defense of the NAAC affects their scores. The Pacific Army continues it's war against Vox Populi but it is looking like that war is mostly over, as Vox has shown some heavy losses while TPA continues it's growth. Finally both Crimson Empire and IDIOT continue their war against MCXA with both CE and IDIOT showing impressive gains and MCXA showing a slight loss.

Other News:

Congrats to Viridia, which jumped in to the final sanction spot today and should receive an automatic in game sanction some time tonight when update happens. And condolences to the Pond Pirates who after being the first brown team sanctioned was passed by both the Lazy Penguin Eaters and Viridia and ended up losing their sanction. They also had heavy losses so they need to figure out a way to turn around their growth if they wish to reclaim their sanction.

Commentary

While the biggest gainer of the day is an impressive trouncing by IDIOT (they gained 1.75 points more than the 2nd largest gainer) the other impressive news is how quickly Aqua Defense Alliance is shooting up the chart. They only passed the add line yesterday to make an appearance on the charts, and they continue their rapid rise in the rankings passing 3 alliances today. We also bid farewell to Rattopojat OY, we hardly knew you.

I'm not sure what is going on over in United White, they are at war with a small blue alliance called Fightin Division but they seem to be doing okay in those wars, so I am not sure what precipitated this massive drop in the rankings for them today.

It was not a good day to be a "non sanctioned" alliance as only the Aqua Defense Force managed to post positive gains. It was a case of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer today as the gap between sanctioned and unsanctioned grew.

In war news, OJ's assault on Citadel didn't really do much to slow down Citadel's growth rate, as they earned 2nd largest gainer of the day awards despite now being involved in day 3 of the war with OJ. But OJ hasn't seemed overly impacted by the war either as they posted healthy gains for the day as well. MCXA showed decent growth for the first time in a few days despite fighting overwhelming odds against the IDIOT's. Finally the SuperFriends seem to still be having their way with the NAAC nations, as SF keeps up the growth while NAAC is in danger of falling another spot if the Citadel can keep up their growth.

Commentary

For the third straight day IDIOT claims biggest gainer of the day, again posting solid gains of over a point. The war with IDIOT seems to be catching up with MCXA, as they dropped over a point today pushing those 2 alliances further apart in the rankings. In Citadel's war with the NAAC they didn't really have to do anything today to pass them, by merely holding on to their score they saw the NAAC slide below them as they continue to take heavy damages over in the NAAC.

After an impressive appearance on to the list for Aqua Defense Force their growth seems to have come to a halt, marking the stop of one of the fastest rising alliances on the list. The Crimson Empire tho continues it's rapid ascension, putting itself next in line for a sanction should any of the alliances that are currently sanctioned stumble.

Overall it was a fairly good day for TE specific alliances, while the CN:S crossover alliances continue to struggle. It appears that more and more people are finding TE to be a different game than CN:S, and that is a good thing for all of us playing.

ETA: I am leaving for holiday tonight, so this will be the last update I do for about 9 days, if someone else would like to keep it updated while I am gone, that would be great.

So Aqua Defense Alliance was actually just taking a break yesterday, because they make that lull a distant memory as they shoot past 5 alliances and earn a sanction. A major congratulations to them for that! Other than that though, people decided they didn't want to do a damn thing and no one else passed. Very sad.

Also, I just got called so this is going to become a lot more short. My own IDIOT takes biggest gainer yet again and creeps steadily closer to The Superfriends, who have a small but decent gain of their own. Rounding out the solid gains are The Citadel, United White, and Viridia. So aside from the Sanctioned alliances, it was a pretty meh day. Orange Juice and National Alliance of Arctic Countries recorded some devastating near-half-point losses, while The Pacific Army, Duckroll, Lazy Penguin Eaters, and Vox Populi post modest losses as well.

I had no idea how to compute the add and drop lines, so I just didn't touch them. If I made any glaring mistakes, let me know.
