ArgonV
Well? I can't decide. I have 1 bank, 2 factories, a foreign aid ministry and a harbor right now. I'm wondering if it'd be beneficial to trash the bank and buy another factory instead, and then rebuy the banks when I have 5 factories. My gut says the -8% infra cost (the primary reason to buy a factory) is a better bonus than the +7% income, since 95% of your money goes toward infra anyway. I'd just like to know what you guys think.

Count Rupert
Mathematically, you're fine. It's recommended to get a bank early, then buy the five factories. Early on, you're not paying much from infrastructure so 8% off what little you are paying doesn't save you as much as the bank gives you in extra income. And the extra income helps buy the infrastructure to get those five factories just when the price is rising enough to warrant the savings that factories give you.
