flowingfire
Hi there. I'm curious if Cybernations is an independently written script, or if it's based off of another script/engine. I found some similar RPG scripts, but am not sure which one this is... If it's a unique one, KUDOS to the creators! I'm interested in making RPGs and stuff. flowingfire
I think it's the open source script called EZRPG modified. Is this correct? If so, would I be able to see the modifications by request under the GNU license?
Guido
I'm not terribly familiar with the coding of this game, but I think the admin created this mostly on his own. And it's doubtful that he will let you see the source code for it.
flowingfire
I'm not terribly familiar with the coding of this game, but I think the admin created this mostly on his own. And it's doubtful that he will let you see the source code for it. If he wrote this whole thing, I am thoroughly impressed. If any part of the code is based on EZRPG or another GNU script, however, sharing the source code may be a part of the original license agreement. If that's the case, I officially request the source code for his adaptation. LOL- I think it's unethical to hack a game, so don't worry. That would be as stupid as cheating at Monopoly-- completely pointless and childish. I'm just interested in the PBBG genre and how it's implemented.
