CN in China

I will be spending the summer in Shanghai, and wanted to know in advance if anyone knows if CN is blocked by the great firewall of china, or the "Golden Shield Project." If it is, I'll need to get a sitter before I leave. Thanks in advance if anyone has any info.

If CN isn't blocked, you still might be screwed.

I don't know how the ISP's work in china, but they might route all of their traffic through several public IP address, and NAT inside the great wall.

If they do that, then you might be caught for being a multi because someone might also have a nation on that IP.

If this is true, can I get the mods to make sure it doesn't happen?

I don't know for sure (so don't shoot me if I am wrong) but I always thought Shanghai was a no-CN zone if you used public PC's or commen internet, as they love to use servers to route everything thruw them and thus give you only a few different IP's.

And offcourse China can always block you for obscure reasons.
