The contrast of colors is very nice and whatever bid that is there, it looks wicked. However, the ripple or cracked effect only takes away from the flag. If you removed the photoshop effect it would easily be one of my favorite flags. Atlantic Empire; That flag Is near perfection. The only issue is that globe and anchor in the middle. If the flag were sized down it would look like a gray blob. I have no doubt that it hold significance, but the size and location of it do not do it justice. A thought. Perhaps if you made the anchor somewhat larger, colored it white, and placed it in the top left portion of the flag. That would look very dynamic. I wasn't even going to get into the colors. 1) The green and yellow stripes do not contrast enough. Many of your citizens are becoming addicted and have been unable to hold steady jobs which is both endangering your citizen’s lives and hurting your economy. What is your government’s position? Shiny internet banners and flags are not the same. Nor are seals, logos, shields or forum signatures. All those things are different types of images with different needs and different functions. Part of the by-definition function of a flag (as opposed to a shiny internet banner) is to look realistic. If you think it would be more appropriate to use shiny banners (or shields, seals or logos) instead of flags as the primary alliance symbol, then that's a legitimate argument that people can respect, even if they disagree. It is not, however, legitimate to show us an apple and say it's an orange, as it's not legitimate to show us a banner and say it's a flag. It's really simple. You just put me on the flag.
