If anyone can come up with a genuinely perfect name for this war then I think more people would be willing to go along with it - I know I at least would - but honestly, none of the alternate proposals have been remotely as good as Herogasm. They're either too wordy, not catchy, unfunny, biased, or some combination. As much as the whole "Argent relevancy" thing means nothing to me (and thus I personally hate it as a legit proposal), I feel like the wiki listing it as the alternative name was a decent compromise. Idk, no name is going to be universally popular, but Herogasm has stuck the most, so this whole thing seems kind of settled to me unless a month and a half has somehow produced some kind of genius idea that no one thought of yet. I think it's a terrible name for this war as there's no link or parallelism with CN stuff, many of those supporting it probably do so mostly because they feel it's provocative and/or inappropriate. (And yes, I know that some material related to it has been discord'd, but that was after the fact, so to speak.) (I'll here go out on a limb to say that, to me, it very much feels like something that's as old as - at least - the Mushroom Kingdom's subculture: attempts to be "controversial" that, unknowingly, materialize in the form of conformism and bigotry. And yet, I continue to hear that it's categorically genius, with great comedic relevance. Still, I've yet to see one that I really like, that isn't relatively biased one way or the other. It gives me the dizzys looking at all these giant alliances fighting each other, just like high altitude would.
