Da BIG Boss Posted February 25, 2018 Report Share Posted February 25, 2018 (edited) *THIS TREATY IS PENDING - IT HAS YET TO BE OFFICIALLY RATIFIED* Quote Smelly Ocean AccordsPreambleWe, the sovereign alliances of the Coalition of Royal Allied Powers (hereafter referred to as CRAP) and Atlantis, acknowledging that economic, political, and military stability is vital to health of any alliance, enter into this optional defense pact.Article 1: Conduct CRAP and Atlantis pledge to show only respect and good will towards each other. While this will prohibit outright verbal hostility in all its forms, it will not restrict healthy debate or productive disagreement.Article 2: Military Action The signatories of this agreement agree not to engage in military action against each other. Furthermore, they are encouraged, but not obligated, to assist their fellow signatory in the event of war upon when requested.Article 3: Intelligence Should vital knowledge of a political or military nature come to the attention of one signatory, they are required to share it with the other.Article 4: Economic Cooperation Such is the relationship between the signatories that both agree to allow the free exchange of economic resources between their respective memberships in either an organized, or unorganized, manner.Article 5: Dual Membership The signatories of this agreement recognize each other as their own flesh and blood, and each Alliance shall give dual membership to the members of government of their Smelly Ocean counterparts as they see fit. Our union is so true that we two shall share our governmental archives and communication structures and recognize each other's leaders as observers and advisors to the other. Frequent communication shall allow our illustrious Alliances to foster greater integration and intensify our friendship so that all Smelly Ocean inhabitants may be of common thought, mind and purpose. Therefore, from this moment on, CRAP and Atlantis shall share a common public meeting place for all Smelly Ocean inhabitants and those seeking contact with them. Article 6: Cancellation It is the hope of both signatories that this pact may last forever, or until the bond it represents grows to the point where an upgrade is merited. Nah...it was Atlantis who originally disbanded back in '08, then I reformed it on New Year's (this year). CRAP's been running strong for a while. Feb 12, 2018 at 5:59 pm: Chuck Normis sent me the following message privately on CRAP's forums - "So RL hit everyone stupid hard. That treaty still on the table? If so we are ok with it as written." Feb 13, 2018 at 7:44 pm: I reply to Chuck's message with the following - "Indeed it is! Thanks for letting me know! :bacon2: And it's ok about the irl thing, I have so much [expletive removed] to do this semester :effort: So, I guess this means we can publicize the treaty on the CN forums?"
