"... And the gates came crashing down, the scandalous lies revealed. Those on the Planet Steve rejoiced, they saw this was the reckoning. The end of the Flag Runner's Era had begun. The cannons fired on the first day they could; those who had cheated the system stood ready to pay the price for their crimes. They have endured, but now they face the full wrath. The veil of truth was upon the United Nations. It was the day of IRON."

- Holy Book of Round 45

And now, another announcement from your Independent Republic of Orange Nations

TE has seen for two rounds now what the United Nations is about. They find whatever means are necessary for them to win their precious awards. Last round, those with honor showed that they were tired of it, and made their best to say no more. But the creation of multiple "SE/RL Friends," almost 40 of them, on the last day led the United Nations to again steal the award from those who showed true dedication to Planet Steve and the competition that should be fostered.

We have now sat at the table, and IRON along with many others have agreed it is the time to end this once and for all. DEFCON 1 lit the torch, and now we take over for them.

IRON hereby declares war on the United Nations

We understand that with this there's going to be a lot of moaning and complaining by the UN...

xgghkMu.jpg

So we got these for you ;)

From whom, exactly, do you think the UN stole the award? What lies, exactly, did any of us tell? We held the strongest alliance score the entire round, up until alliances began merging to boost their scores, to which we responded by recruiting nations, many of whom are playing this round. Furthermore, we were the best economic performers, won every single war we fought, and fought as many wars as any other alliance. Sure, the award is rigged. But any alliance which claims that they, rather than the UN, deserved the strongest alliance award is being dishonest, both to themselves and the community.

Your cause is neither new nor noble. Whenever an alliance succeeds, other alliances complain, and the success is always "unfair." So it goes. The only tears we'll shed over this declaration are tears of laughter at the guise of justice which hides a frustration at one group's continual success. Good luck.

Does anyone honestly believe that this is an honorable and just war?

IRON literally had to withdraw from the Accords, which their leader authored, to go through with this DoW. There is nothing honorable nor equitable about staggering a bunch of newbies who have never played CN a day in their lives.

At the end of last round, several people said they were hoping some of the new players we recruited would actively play this round, and now that some have decided to, they're being staggered in NA. So, let's drop all the inane, fatuous guises and say it how it is; this is not a war of justice, or a war of honor, this is a war rooted in jealousy and hate. The goal is to chase new players from the game, while also attempting to force an entire alliance to either collect in NA or delete; an alliance which has done nothing but refuse to be cheated out of an award which everyone knows we rightfully and truly deserved.

But go ahead, continue with these false narratives that serve no purpose but to slander us and push this barbaric and unjust agenda of yours.

Good luck and have fun staggering first round newbies out of a dying game! It should be very challenging!

Completely despicable.

After reviewing new information, we have come to the conclusion that the evidence justifying this war was invalid. Rather than continuing our part in an undeserving punishment, we have decided to conclude the war.

The Independent Republic of Orange Nations and the United Nations agree to peace beginning at update today, 12/13. Best of luck in the round everyone!

Note that any nations who break the cease-fire are subject to standard penalties for doing so. They will receive a full day of counter attacks from nations that they are currently warring.

In round 43, you stole the same award from D1 using the same tactics of bringing in freshly created nations when D1 was the strongest economically. Last round the UN set the record mid round using ghost and temp traders and no one had a problem with that but as other alliances done the same, you started bringing in new nations to maintain your lead. You say you earned it and should've won it but we never got to find out cos there can be a lot of road blocks and variables that can change the outcome of who was suppose to win and who won.

The real winner of this award should've been the majority of the community who banded together and formed the alliance, Justice League, for it was they who were truly cheated. The UN used almost 40 newly created nations who'd never even seen a war all round and why no one believes you should've won it cos it shouldn't come down to who can recruit the most people in the last few days.

Fool me once as it's not the first time we've seen an alliance hide behind it's newbies after it wronged many people.

As for honor and justice, where was your honor when you bought in almost 40 new nations to beat everyone else? Admin ignored our plea for changes so war is the only way we'll get justice here in the hopes it'll make you think of the severe consequences before padding stats with new nations again.

As the player who recruited most of our new players. I am going to do my best to ensure none of them attack, but if they have/or do, please accept my apology. I do understand consequences have to be dealt usually.

Last round UN set the record with our active players who fought every war + a few players that were not active enough to fight every war. As you said, no one had a problem with that. Other alliances did not do the same, other alliances decided to all merge near the end of the round to deny UN our deserved victory. So yes, we recruited new players to hold our lead and win the award we felt we deserved for having played and fought well.

The real winner of this round, regardless of who wins, is IRON for standing up with the truth and realizing that you are full of lies HiredGun. You want justice, win the round HiredGun. Show what D1 are capable of but attempting to win while using the whole world against 1 alliance, just sad.

HG, you're a pathological liar who misled several people with proven-false information.

We did pad our stats, and no that was not exactly honorable, but before JL formed (on the basis that we stole the award from the wolves by padding, which is utterly false; and let's not even mention how you purposely withheld that information from every other leader in JL), we were set to win the award with our regular members, or in other words, without padding stats. In fact, you yourself admitted that.

You're the one who approved 6 ghosts, then put them right back on pending after your AA score registered. Is that not stat padding? Or does it just not count when the almighty HG does it?

You're the one who has attempted to manipulate his way into forming a coalition against an alliance that did nothing but act in response to what we preceived as an injustice.

When JL formed, we had two options: either just let you take the award from us, which would've been incredibly unfair to MK and Ameer, as well as the UN as a whole; or start recruiting. After some discussion, we decided that the latter was the best option we had in front of us. You may disagree with that, but that's irrelevant to this discussion.

So, yes, we recruited nations to join on the last day, but that was only in response to JL, which was essentially the same thing (in terms of padding stats). We're not denying that what we did was wrong, but we only did it in response to something that was even more wrong.

This is not opinion, this is simple fact. You can attempt to tip-toe around it, but the simple truth is that you've stepped over the line this time; your deceit spreads across the entirety of TE and it's about time you've been exposed for the fraudulent liar you are.

The duplicitous way you play this game is starting to get annoying, HG.

If people think I am responsible for the outraged towards the UN then it's not my fault they have ignorance issues.

You set the record with all of your ghost and temps mid-round but this award has never been won from a mid-round peak, in round 43, the wolves held the record for majority of the round but we weren't concerned about that cos our plan was to dump our much larger banks a day before our end of round war commenced and we managed to take the record on the second day of that war and then the UN would go on to bring in new nations so Eurasia seen this and offered to help (kind of what lead to the creation of JL) cos Eurasia in their words strongly felt we had won it fair and square and in the past, every other alliance would've accepted this. But I do agree that the UN was the strongest economically last round but only until JL was formed.

Half of our applicants were temp traders who helped all round, the other half were ghost but our issue hasn't been that we approved them cos every alliance in the race has done this, the main issue is that you used new nations en-mass to pad your stats and until the UN, no one has ever done this. What it all means is you'll never lose this award like in round 43 when you didn't deserve it.

You can paint me as the great manipulator who has duped everyone into believing the UN has wronged them or they can formulate their own opinions and judge for themselves.

You seem to have completely missed my point lol

We only used those new nations in response to a massive merger that was no more honorable or just than us recruiting new nations. It was, however, formed due to the false information that the wolves were set to win the award. So, I don't blame anyone else.

Just you.

You had every opportunity to let everyone know that we were set to win it, but instead you purposely withheld that information so you can push your selfish and unjust agenda.

I also find it funny that you're now saying we should let everyone formulate their own opinion, considering all you've done in the past month is lie, mislead and manipulate everyone into believing a falsified version of events. All I've been trying to do is let people form their own opinions, but people are forming those opinions with only one biased and dishonest side of the story.

So far, every person who's listened to our version of events and allowed us to present them with proof to confirm our story has changed their mind on this issue.

We are not here to play unfair, we do not aspire to cheat anyone out of any awards, nor do we want to do anything other than have fun and just play this game. Sure, we do like winning. Awards are nice, tbh. But we don't want an award that isn't rightfully ours.

Who deserved the award in r43 is up for debate. You did perform the best economically, the wolves performed very well too, and the UN had a pretty good sophomore round. But, don't pretend you were innocent that round, either. You merged with a foreign AA to beat our score, and we recruited a few nations in response (like 5, iirc?). Almost the same thing as last round, except you could argue D1 deserved the award in r43.

The UN deserving the award last round simply isn't up for debate. When faced with a difficult situation, we chose the best option we had in front of us. You then spun that into an attempt to form a coalition against us so you could go back to winning all the awards unopposed. Anyway, I'm done arguing with you; I'd be better off drinking bleach lol

Are you kidding me? You had used new nations before JL was formed which is precisely why JL was formed and why do I have to explain anything to the other JL leaders? I never headed the movement so people did not come together cos of any influence I had on them nor did I mislead them and I've never said you were set to win anything.

You've had two people who've only heard your side of the story agree that you were innocent of any wrong doing but try convincing all those that payed attention and seen it all happen in front of their eyes. You already know D1 sees through all your bs.

I'm glad you can admit that D1 deserved this award in round 43 and I'd say the same for UN if you hadn't started heavily stat padding so who knows who would've won it. Late mergers are not unusual, you might've been engaged in an early war giving another alliance more time to build bank, no one knows now cos the UN made sure there was no possibility of anyone else taking it. In round 43, D1 took the record at the start of the end of round wars and targets were carefully selected to increase our chances of holding the record til reset. As I said earlier, Eurasia only offered to join (3 nations total) cos they knew D1 deserved the award and not the UN, the wolves were also ahead of the UN in the race but the alliance who should've been at 3rd place stole it using the very same tactics you did last round.

I can easily see why you've had two people agree, it's now more than clear you've mislead them and they believed it.

We merely provided screenshot proof to back up our story; can you do the same? Of course you can't, because you're a foolish, idiotic liar who's spun everything into an attempt to push a personal agenda.

JL was formed because we used new nations? That's a blatant lie, and it goes against the reason Samwise publicly stated it formed. So, I thank you for proving my point that you have and had a different agenda then the rest of JL.

You used JL to undermine the other AA leaders and manipulate your way into creating mass anti-UN sentiment. This is not opinion, just fact. You can try to weasel your way out of it, but screenshots don't lie.

D1's time is running out. A pathetic alliance with pathetic leadership.

Your leader didn't get the MP until day 85 last round, sat the first war out (didn't build, like me), and attempted (unsuccessfully) to flag run, at the cost of getting D1 rolled 7 times in a row. Did you tell the almighty HG to build as well? Or is this just more D1 double standards?

Mind your business, Wasso. A gov member commenting on how a foreign AA decides to build just goes to show your level of incompetence and disrespect.
